To start off I just wanted to say Chihiro and Kapo are truly the best wedding planners out there! When we submitted the inquiry and had the opportunity to meet them in person, we knew we wanted them as our wedding planners for this destination wedding. Even from our initial meetings and discussions, they gave their recommendations and suggestions from their past experiences and I feel that it really showed when planning our wedding. I will say I am a type a bride in terms of aesthetics and caring about every single aspect about a wedding. I felt that Kapo and Chihiro really incorporated all the elements and pieces that we were hoping and truly when the day of the wedding happened it was perfect. Now post wedding blues, I look back and I’m just grateful for all the work and effort that both of them did with their team. Working with all the vendors, helping write letters for my family to get visas and also all the changes that we were requesting, their effort and work was professional and organized. There was a number of design elements that they had suggested to us which we had never seen before and was not on Pinterest so that was super refreshing. They also taught us about the differences in wedding culture in Japan compared to the US so that really helped us understand expectations. They were both so patient and kind with us throughout the entire process and really kept us on track in terms of what we needed to get done in preparation for the wedding. We mainly communicated through WhatsApp and had our hourly zoom calls. Kapo/Chihiro was so responsive any time of day. Kapo was still coordinating with our MC and officiant even when she lost her voice. Even a few days before the wedding, they were providing additional options for us in the chance that it would rain and our initially chosen DJ fell through and they were able to have one of their other DJs fill-in and fly in from Hokkaido so we are truly thankful that everything worked out in the way that it did. Even the schedule the day of the wedding was smooth with some additional changes happening. I did not feel stressed at all with the LANDRESS team coordinating with everyone for a smooth transition from each part of the day. Kapo and Chihiro are truly experts in this wedding industry, Billy and I could not thank them enough for all that they did for us and hope to see them again next time we’re in Japan. Throughout the planning process, they were flexible and easy to work with. I appreciated that they were open for me to bring my own vendors for makeup & photography, while also providing excellent options for us to choose from. We eventually partnered with photographers, videographers, and florist recommended by Landress, and their work were truly amazing.

Communication was effortless as their team is multilingual, which made every discussion clear and comfortable. A special mention goes to Kapo, who is also from Hong Kong; her ability to communicate in Cantonese helped us feel especially supported throughout the process.

Landress understood my priority for great food, and the catering they arranged was exceptional—many guests complimented it. Their on-site team was both professional and friendly, making the entire event run smoothly.

What impressed me the most was how well they managed the budget. At no point did I feel pushed to spend more; every decision was made after thoughtful discussion. Landress made the entire planning journey stress-free, and I’m extremely satisfied with the outcome of our celebration.
