Planning a wedding is known to be a very stressful experience for Brides everywhere! However, D'vanya at Aced Affairs has a way of making planning a wedding and reception the most stress free and beautiful experience. Her attention to detail, her listening ear, her ability to bring your vision to life (in whatever budget you desire) is top tier! She has surrounded her company with remarkable vendors that provide and produce quality work and services! I never had to worry about the choices she would make or ideas she would create because I knew that whatever I chose, she would exceed my expectations!
D'vanya executed the perfect surprise wedding reception reveal, disguised as an 'engagement party' that still has my guests raving to this day.
Most importantly, for me, the 'day of experience' provided by D'vanya and her team not only calmed me, but allowed me to be fully immersed in the bride experience, while they took care of the small yet overwhelming details (like making my shoes more comfortable and making sure I stopped taking photos to eat).

My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found D'Vanya! When we decided to plan a 3 day fusion destination wedding (Indian and Jewish) in the Bahamas, we were very overwhelmed and did not know where to start. We found D'Vanya early in the planning process and she walked us through every step from hiring the vendors, design and decor, and putting together a detailed timeline for the wedding weekend. D'Vanya was always available to hop on a Zoom call when we had questions or were feeling overwhelmed. Thanks to D'Vanya, we felt at ease during the planning process and knew we were always in good hands.

D'Vanya and Aced Affairs made my dream wedding vision come to life. It was truly the most stunning weekend of my life, and I had ZERO worries coming into our wedding weekend thanks to her. D'Vanya ensured she was on top of timelines so that we weren't ever behind on planning, always made herself available when I had questions, and was super calm and flexible when I wanted to completely change my color scheme 3 months before my wedding! She really listened to our thoughts and ideas during our planning calls, and gave suggestions based on what would best fit our “vibe”. I also want to call out how attentive she was to my food intolerance and making Celiac Disease a priority when planning our menus with the venue to ensure I didn’t get sick during my wedding weekend.
Words can’t describe the gratitude I have for her team making our wedding day SO flawless, exciting and stress free. The team divided and conquered to ensure Todd and I stayed on time individually, so that we had a full hour to enjoy taking pictures alone after our first look (which was recommended by D’Vanya, and a memory we will never forget)! They went above and beyond the entire day to be there for WHATEVER we needed, including dabbing the sweat off my face and fanning me in the 100 degree weather, to making sure we got our flamingo pictures, to feeding us, and helping us change outfits!

My wedding was a dream. Not many brides can say that nothing went wrong on their wedding day, but I can. D’Vanya was a part of the wedding planning process from beginning to end along with my mom. She navigated my mom’s creative side and managed my type A planner style with ease. Probably because she has both qualities; exactly what’s needed from a wedding planner and coordinator.
I’m the type of bride that doesn’t want to think of logistics on the day of, so I insisted on having her there for day of coordination. Another great decision. I remembered sending her the timeline and seating chart days before the wedding and everything was executed perfectly.
If you’re looking for someone who is well organized, fun and professional all at the same time, D’Vanya is your girl.

D’Vanya at Aced Affairs provided the best wedding planning experience I could’ve asked for. She accompanied me on venue visits, stayed in constant communication, coordinated with all of my vendors and ensured that I received everything I wanted without me being involved with the behind the scenes. I tell everyone if it wasn’t for her, we would have eloped :) Her positive attitude kept me optimistic and calm during the planning process which was greatly appreciated. She is well connected with vendors here in The Bahamas and is able to source/accommodate the most unique requests. On our wedding day, she ensured that everything ran smoothly from 10am until 12am! She stayed by my side for any/all last minute requests. A wedding angel! I would recommend Aced Affairs to anyone looking to eliminate the stress and headache of planning an event. Thank you D’Vanya!
I don’t even know where to start when it comes to how amazing D’Vanya is. I was not sure how planning a destination wedding would go and was nervous. Let me tell you…. D’Vanya took every single bit of stress out of the process. She made every step of the planning process enjoyable and completely stress free! She always made herself available, listened to my vision and added amazing suggestions, thought of every detail, and created our dream wedding. When you meet D’Vanya you will not only want her to plan your event, but also be your best friend. She is personable, kind, and cares about you as a person, not just a client. I can’t say enough good things about her and i don’t know anyone else who can plan an event with zero flaws, delays, or mishaps. Truly zero! Thank you thank you thank you D’Vanya for making our wedding day so perfect and for being such an amazing friend throughout the process.
