I have had the pleasure of working with Marva Munroe and the Chic Bahamas Weddings team for a number of years and every event - be it a wedding, dinner, family special occasion - has been handled with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Chic Bahamas Weddings does an awesome job at scaling the events they manage from a variety of budgets and group sizes, across a host of the Family Islands in The Bahamas.

Working with Mrs Marva was a dream! Everything was so easy. My wedding day was so so so easy and she handled everything!! It was absolutely stunning and exceeded my expectations. I would not have changed a single thing. I was not worried or stressed at all the entire week because I knew Marva had it covered. And she did! All of my guest said it was the prettiest wedding they had ever been to. It would not have been possible with our Marva and her team. Everything was truly amazing and I can’t recommend them enough.
Marva was with us every step of the way during the 2 years we planned our Bahamas wedding! She was always on time to our monthly calls, would provide recommendations when we weren't sure what to go with, her assistant voluntarily took photos and videos on my phone the entire night of our wedding so that we would have media to look at the next day, and Marva's team ensured that our wedding day ran smoothly the entire evening. We chose her partial planning package which meant Marva was more "hands off" and ensured perfection behind the scenes. Just be aware that, if choosing the partial planning, Marva's team does not set up any wedding decor for the day of and if you expect that, you need to have full planning. Marva made reservations for us to go downtown and have our marriage license handled, as well as recommended the BEST officiant for our ceremony. If you're planning a wedding in the Bahamas, you can't go wrong with Marva and her team. Thank you, Marva!
If you are considering having your wedding in the Bahamas, hiring Marva with Chic Bahamas Wedding is truly the only way to go. This will be the best decision of your entire wedding. Marva’s care for her clients, attention to detail, and “Can Do” attitude makes her the ideal wedding planner. She will make things happen that other planners can not, and she stays on top of every little detail. She not only made my vision come to life, but our ceremony and reception exceeded our expectations. The entire process was easy and literally flawless thanks to Marva - our wedding planner quickly turned very good friend.
I had the greatest experience with Marva & Chic Bahamas weddings. My own wedding was easily the best I have been to. Everything was done beautifully and masterfully, from the aesthetics of the wedding and reception, down to guest pickup from the airport. Marva served a masterclass in making sure the accommodations were A1 and everyone had what they needed for such a big event in our lives. Highly favored and recommended to anyone interested in destination weddings.
Marva and her team were AMAZING for my wedding last month on Harbour Island!! My venue was more complicated in that they do not typically do weddings and Marva was able to get everything that they needed rented, imported, and sent back after.
The months leading up to the wedding were stress free and we could not have done it without her.
We did 4 events for the weekend and Marva planned them all. She took care of getting all my vendors to the island and getting work permits etc. as well. Also had beautiful fireworks show!
We had 150 people and they all had a blast.
Cannot thank you enough you Marva and team!!! Highly recommend chic Bahamas weddings if you're having a wedding in the Bahamas especially one that is logistically complicated.
