We are so so SO grateful we found Jules/Datura Photo to shoot our wedding. She did an incredible job capturing the emotions and the overall story of our day and we couldn’t be happier with ouyr wedding photos! We also utilized Jules for our videography and we are in love with our wedding video. You can really tell when you watch our video and look at our photos that we had a photographer who just loves love. She told our love story so beautifully.
You can also tell that she knows so much about composition, lighting, etc. She does a great job with giving directions for where to stand and poses to do for those of us who know nothing about getting our picture taken. Not only is she an incredibly talented and gifted artist in her photography, but she is a total gem to work and spend the day with. She was also super communicative and professional throughout the entire process, went above and beyond and stayed late to get pics at our after party, and as an added bonus she was amazing with the kids in our wedding party and getting them to smile for the camera! We could literally go on and on about how amazing she was. We would highly recommend booking Datura Photo for any wedding, but especially if you want your photos to feel artsy, vintage, romantic, and emotional.

We booked Jules for our wedding and I can’t recommend her enough! Jules was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She was super communicative and helpful in the planning stages and really helped us figure out our timeline and what we wanted out of our pictures. She was a delight to have with us on our wedding day and made my partner and I feel comfortable and beautiful throughout the day. We were so blown away with the beautiful pictures and our friends and family have not stopped complimenting them. We’re so happy to have so many gorgeous photos from our best day that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. Jules truly is a one of a kind storyteller and I encourage everyone to book her!!!

Working with Jules was an absolute blast! We had such an amazing experience with her through the whole process and she definitely delivered when it came to our photos!! Would love to work with her again in the future.
Where do I even begin…. We cannot recommend Jules enough. She got herself all the way to New Hampshire/Vermont for us and not only did she take amazing photos but was totally up for hiking a mountain with us. She is so incredibly talented and so easy going. I have looked back at my photos so many times at this point just to feel the memories again. We are both so awkward and goofy, and she was able to transform that into some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen. She is the hardest worker and is so passionate about what she does. Do yourself a favor and book Jules for whatever the occasion might be! You will not regret it!
