Blooms by Mel is something special. From the beginning, Mel created a beautiful proposal which truely showed that she cared to understand our vision and bring it to life. Every detail from our first phone call was encapsulated in this proposal, and so from the very first point we could tell she was a truely pivotal person in our wedding journey.
Throughout the wedding planning process, Mel was not only easy to contact at any point, but a great person to hang out with and vent any of our wedding frustrations to. She cared so much and went above and beyond to deliver our dream wedding. It was so easy to trust Mel and she made it a thousand times better than what we could even envision.
The way Mel reused the florals from the ceremony to the reception was also breathtaking. I am still in awe of how our wedding cake was set up - stunning to say the least.
We and all our wedding guests also LOVED getting bouquets of flowers at the end of the night. They were the perfect wedding favour and it was wonderful to see our favourite people go home with a little peice of our wedding and heart.
Mel, thank you truely. If only we could permanently adopt you into the family! With all our love and sunshine, Ellie and Matt.

If you want wedding flowers that exceed your expectations - you must go with Mel! She was so helpful and professional during the planning process and went above and beyond for us, even going to our linen hire company to ensure the colours and flowers matched. You will not be disappointed with Mel and her team - simply stunning
I cannot recommend Mel enough! I hired Mel to do my wedding florals and day of coordination. The florals were beautiful and stunning, and it feels like she reached into my brain, saw what I liked, and brought it to life, which was a feat in itself as I have no clue when it comes to flowers! But Mel is a genius!
She kept in touch in the weeks leading up to the wedding, to answer any questions, put out any fires, to joke with us and help calm any nerves. And her help on the day was irreplaceable, she visited us both in the morning, not only to drop off our flowers, but to make sure we feeling good, to help with any last minute challenges, anything we needed, she met us at the church, and then made her way to the venue to finish setting up.
It was like having a super organised best friend/cheerleader.
We cannot thank Mel enough for making our day that much more magical. Thank you Mel!!!!

I cannot praise Mel and her work highly enough!! Mel is warm, friendly, professional and has attention to detail in her work that is exactly what you want on your wedding day. From our initial phone call together, I knew I wanted Mel to be the florist for our wedding. Mel took our inspiration images and created truly unforgettable florals…they were perfect in every way. It makes such a difference having an easy going vendor who you can tell is genuinely invested in you having your dream experience (in my case, florals). We can’t thank you enough Mel (& team!) I still get goose bumps looking at photos of our florals from our wedding.

Blooms by Mel Floral Styling styled my wedding florals in February and I can wholeheartedly say that Mel absolutely nailed the brief. The gorgeous florals used stayed fresh-looking from beginning to end.
The team were so kind and and brought positive energy on the day when they delivered the bouquets and morning floral pieces, and with ninja speed as they discreetly re-located floral arrangements from the ceremony to the reception.
Communication and planning was smooth and Mel was so attentive to all thoughts and ideas that I brought forward. I was very specific on what I didn't want, but had less of an idea of specifics of what I did want, although I was able to provide some inspo pics and a general 'vibe' of what I was after. Mel's experience with different flowers, types of arrangements and all things wedding-floral related was very evident. Her industry knowledge and attention to detail (right down to the colour and style of ribbons wrapping the bouquets) was appreciated and exactly what this frazzled bride (me) needed to calm my insatiable need for high detail planning.
The "wrap up service" where guests took home small bouquets made from the florals used around the reception at the end of the night was our favourite. It was such a special addition which pro-longed the wedding day bliss to have our friends and family sending photos days later of their keepsakes on display in their homes. (and reduced the need for costly and wasteful 'wedding favors').

I have worked with Mel on numerous occasions and she had always been wonderful to deal. With! Her work and arrangements are amazing always breathtaking! As a photographer I feel my photos do not do her work justice! If you waste looking for a floral magician you have found her! Stop looking!! Highly recommended.
