I am not an easy person to please as I expect excellence and perfection - which is tough with a wedding. But every vendor Cláudia recommended went above and beyond to make our day so magical. Claudia was so organized with the schedule and was our point person day of and it took a lot of stress off me and my family. She also clearly takes pride in her work and gives her all. I would one thousand percent recommend her. And I would listen to any and all advice! Anything connecting to Claudia and her role was flawless.
We had a wedding that we had to make some changes to because I got pregnant, Claudia was able to do most of the planning before the baby was born so that we could have a couple of months of downtime with the baby before finalizing our plans. Being based in the US I was nervous about planning an international wedding but Claudia really took control and let us just make the big decisions and I was so grateful for that!
We interviewed 5 other wedding planners for our Portugal destination wedding but ended up choose Claudia and the Take a Vow Portugal team for our wedding. Claudia grew up in Cascais - the town we decided on having our wedding at and has deep family roots across all of Portugal, which made us feel comfortable about her connections. Claudia also worked for many years in London and so we were confident that there wouldn't be any problems with a language barrier since we came from the US! Claudia helped our vision of a Portuguese wedding near the water come to life and had no shortage of options and recommendations for us across all aspects of the weekend (venues for day before, day of, and day after wedding, Florists, Catering, Local Food, Musicians, DJs, Magicians, Artists, Transportation, and many others).
Claudia and team executed our vision with perfection and made strategic pivots along the way when necessary due to unforeseen weather, venue changes, etc. Claudia's kind personality, connections in the area, and strive for perfection made our wedding weekend something out of a fairy tail. Apart from my choice of husband - I am convinced choosing Claudia to support us on our special day was the best choice we could have made. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner! She was a calm presence throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding day.
