Jessie strikes the perfect balance between modern and timeless photography. Her work feels current, fresh and stylish without chasing trends, so your photos will still feel relevant years from now. Jes is hands down the best photographer I've ever worked with. She's so organized, smart and most importantly listens to YOU (the bride) and makes sure you're happy and getting what you feel good about (vs what everyone else is asking for)! My main criteria for photos was that they were unique ,while still being sophisticated and classic. Nothing cheesy. She absolutely nailed it when directing my husband, friends and family. If you can get her, book her. 10/10.
Hiring Jes for your photography needs is something you won't regret. As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of photographers, and Jes' professionalism and care for her clients is special. Not every photographer is both charismatic and excellent at photography, and both of those are equally important. Rest assured Jes will be a fun time on your wedding day and deliver gorgeous photos every time!
Jes Clewell is one of Minneapolis's greatest artists. Not only is she talented, she was such a pleasure to work with. I felt like an absolute movie star working with her. She demonstrated extreme professionalism and confidence in her craft--but also she was just so fun to be around during a very emotional day. On my wedding day, Jes and her team made myself, my husband, and our bridal party feel comfortable, heard, and beautiful. The photos are simply my favorite possession now—if you book Jes you will LOVE your wedding photos in such a way that I never thought was possible. She created a balance of modern and timeless shots which look like they are out of a celebrity wedding shoot--it's truly marvelous. When I got my photos back, I just thought how she truly captured how my heart felt. I know this is a long review, but truly, book her. At the very least, look through her photos and appreciate not only the shots but the extremely time intensive editing. She puts in so much time and effort into her work to make each couple feel good on the day and look good in the photos. I swear, we could’ve gotten married in a shack and she would’ve made it look cool.
Jess is a talented photographer and her work speak for itself. She is easy to work with and communicated well with us. She took the time to get to know us prior to the event to develop a good working rapport. She provided lots of guidance on the types of pictures that she wanted and there was never an awkward moment. She also did a good job organizing our large wedding party (22 people) and coordinated the spots around the city to take more pictures. On the day of the wedding, we were impressed at way she was patient as some of our family members did not show up on time. She is a true professional who is a top talent in her field.
I feel so fortunate to have worked with Jes throughout the wedding process from my engagement photos to our wedding day! She is an absolutely brilliant and talented photographer and we are so happy with the memories that she helped to create. She is responsive and professional and is the best at bringing out our best. We loved working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone that’s looking to hire a photographer.
