We feel so lucky to have had Lia and Gerard from Lia Photo Stories as our wedding photographers for our elopement in the Dolomite mountains of northern Italy! From start to finish, they were an absolute dream to work with. Not only are they INCREDIBLY talented, but they’re also just such warm, down-to-earth people. On the day of our elopement, it honestly felt like we were hanging out with friends! We had a day full of laughs with them and they made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera.
The final photos were BEYOND beautiful. Lia and Gerard perfectly captured the magic of the mountains, the emotion of the day, and all the little moments in between. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
Even with us planning everything from overseas, communicating with Lia was so easy. She was super responsive to emails and messages (despite the time zone difference!), and once we booked with her, it felt like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. She knew the area inside and out, and we trusted her completely, all we had to do was show up and enjoy the day.

On the day of the wedding, she was calm, professional, and captured every special moment beautifully. We’re beyond grateful for her and her husband’s talent and support! Thanks to Lia and Christina, we have the most incredible photos of our wedding day! Lia provided great support when we consulted with her about our wedding day tour through Iceland, and her colleague, Christina, joined us on our big day & captured so many stunning photos. Christina did a fantastic job getting the vibe of the day through photos, guiding us to beautiful spots for "photo opps", and through her lens, she showed us yet another angle of Iceland's beauty (where we fortunately got to be in the photos, too). We're beyond happy to have these photos as a forever memory of the best day of our lives.

Lia was so amazing to work with. The photos turned out better then I could have ever hoped for and the video she made, captured how amazing the day was. If you are looking for a photographer I highly recommend. Lia was fast to respond to my questions, she also helped plan a wonderful day with great photo locations, which made coordinating with our small group that came easier.
Lia made out day the most special. She took amazing and candid photos, as well as guided us through some poses for when we weren’t sure what to do. She was so easy to get along with and we had the best day!
