9 years I started the company in 2016 after getting married myself. Prior to working as a wedding planner, I worked in fashion & accessories as a product developer & buyer. The last company I worked for was a start up and I always felt like I had my own little business in the company. I set up the product department and did everything from designing a collection together with the designers, setting up a team, making a production planning & budgets, find new vendors, negotiate about prices & contracts etc. I left the company 2 months prior to our wedding and at that point I was wondering how people would manage wedding planning and having busy jobs and/or children. I knew I was good at planning so therefor for me it was doable doing these things (and I didn't have children at that point) but I could also imagine for many people it would be overwhelming and very stressful. But the funny thing is that my (now) husband was actually the one who proposed the idea of becoming a wedding planner.
