9 years I grew up in the flower industry where both my parents and basically all my relatived worked with flowers. I always loved working with flowers and also meeting customers who was buying flowers as they were often celebrating something. When I grew up I knew I wanted to stay in the flower industry somehow but I also wanted to work with other design aspects and planning, and then realized that wedding planning would be my dream job. Said and done, I studied to become a wedding planner and event designer and then worked in the wedding industry in both Western Australia and New York City before moving back to Stockholm and starting Avení Events (then Fanny Staaf Events) in 2016. The first wedding I planned was a beautiful winter wedding in Sweden for the most amazing couple that I still talk to today.
