In 1996, The Peninsula Hotels assumed management, and in 2006, the hotel was renamed The Peninsula Beijing. A significant renovation in 2017 transformed it into an all-suite hotel, reducing the number of rooms from 525 to 230 and enhancing its offerings to provide an even more luxurious experience.
