Incredible. That’s the best word to describe Emma. Not only in her photography skills but her as a person. Emma was wonderful throughout the whole process. She worked with us through an emergent situation with grace and kindness. She I truly a wonderful human. It helps that our day was perfect. She made my husband and I feel confident and was great at giving us direction. We ended up with photos that felt like us and showcased our day. She motivated us up the mountain even when I wanted to get married on the side of the trail. We missed our sunrise opportunity but Emma adapted with us wonderfully and we couldn’t be happier with our experience with her. 1000/10 recommend!
Emma was such a joy to work with! She took both our engagement and wedding photos, and my husband and I couldn't be happier with them. The entire process from booking to the actual wedding day was so seamless. From the very first video call, we could feel Emma's positive, infectious energy and knew she would be the perfect person to capture our special day. And we were right! Both my husband and I feel a bit awkward in front of the camera, but Emma made us feel so comfortable and the photoshoots were so fun. She understood exactly what we were looking for with our photos without needing any particular direction. And Emma was so great at getting all the shots she needed with us on the day of the wedding without taking us away from the party. We cannot recommend Emma enough to anyone looking for a photographer!!! We are so grateful that we were able to work with her and will cherish these photos forever.
We couldn't be more thrilled about our wedding photos. Emma is exceptionally talented at producing the most ethereal, warm, natural looking photos that capture the essence of a place deeply. We were obsessed with her work before hiring her but fell in love with her as a person while working with her on our wedding day. We're both pretty shy in front of the camera and she made us feel completely at ease and comfy while also getting all the shots efficiently. She truly felt like a close friend to us and her infectious, bright energy added to the entire experience. Emma needs very little direction because she has a keen eye for composition and art direction yet she still made sure to deliver on all of our personal requests throughout the day. Not to mention every single one of our guests and vendors adored her. If you're thinking about booking her absolutely hands down DO IT!!!!
Emma was amazing to work with for two events - both our wedding ceremony/elopement and reception! Emma was extremely helpful in planning and creating a beautiful experience that we will forever remember. After looking at various photographers, Emma's work and style really captured what we wanted memorialized in our photos and they did not disappoint!

We worked with Emma for our elopement in the North Cascades and it was amazing! She was so helpful with planning the event and finding the perfect location. We don't live in Washington so it was so nice having someone who knew the area so well and could pick out the perfect location for us and our family. My husband and I aren't very used to being in front of a camera but Emma made it so easy and I felt so comfortable with her the entire day. And of course the pictures are absolutely stunning!! I really can't thank her enough for such a beautiful day and unforgettable memories and the best pictures I could have ever imagined.
While this review is long past due as we’re approaching our one year anniversary, it speaks for Emma’s incredible talent as we’re still gushing over our breathtaking photos nearly a year later (and still frequently receive compliments on them from loved ones). Emma’s gifted eye for photography is obvious and undeniable, but her professionalism and kind, gentle, accepting demeanor made our intimate day feel even more special. She was an absolute dream to work with and she was so agreeable when it came to romping all over our favorite parts of Washington all day long. The PNW is such a sentimental place for my husband and me, and Emma’s natural ability to capture the beauty of it and our shared appreciation of it in any given moment is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Emma, we love you and are forever grateful for what you’ve given us.
Emma is an outstanding photographer and human. If you reading these reviews and considering hiring her, you 100% need to. Not only does her work speak for the eye she has for capturing moments, but she is a kind, adventurous, funny and sweet person that makes your day that much better. She was SO professional all day I hardly noticed she was on site, yet she captured our day better than I ever could have imagined. I feel so lucky to have gotten into her schedule, so you should too!!
