Mary Grace, Melissa, and Lorraine are worth way more than their weight in gold! Every detail was carefully planned out and we didn’t have to think about anything except enjoying our moment. They made sure every person or thing was where it needed to be exactly when it needed to be there. We can’t thank them enough!
I cannot recommend Uncommon Camellia enough! Our coordinator, Mary Grace Burkes-Gambill, was the most AMAZING coordinator. She was so organized and made the entire day run so smoothly and stress-free. She made sure that everything was ready to go and calmed me down when I was stressing about the details. For example, as soon as we got to the reception, 5 minutes before our first dance, I spilled honey mustard on the front of my dress and she had a Tide pen ready to go and got the stain out. She thought of everything we could possibly need, and I'm so thankful that we had her so we could just focus on our special day. Also, special shout out to Lisa, her assistant coordinator! Together, they handled the reception beautifully. Even fixing our photobooth when it stopped working mid-reception! They truly were the dream team!
There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Twana Hayes. We had the pleasure of working with Twana through Uncommon Camellia and she handled every little detail leading up to our special day and after. She was especially great in calming my nerves when it came to ordering a tent two days before the wedding for the possible rain forecasted. We could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend working with them!!
Booking Uncommon Camellia was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! I cannot speak highly enough about the incredible work Tori and Maria did to make our day seamless. They were organized, professional, and went above and beyond for us. I still get emotional thinking about how they searched our venue right after our send-off when I realized I was missing an earring—a family heirloom. By the end of the night, they had found it, and it was returned to us the next day! Tori and Maria truly felt like family, and we are beyond grateful for them!
We hired Alexis with Uncommon Camellia to help us plan our New Orleans wedding. She was with us from day one and always responded quickly to our questions no matter how silly they were. She was incredibly knowledgeable, organized and professional. For the day of, we also hired Brittney and Melissa to help with getting ready and orchestrating the event. Their team was extremely kind, helpful and was always there to anticipate our needs before we even knew what we needed. I would HIGHLY recommend Uncommon Camellia to any of my friends and family, they truly made the day a dream come true.
I cannot imagine my wedding day without Natalie Atkinson's hard work and support! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Not only is she smart, organized, and ready to handle anything, but she is also hilarious, kind, and such a joy to be around. Natalie and Taylor did such a great job and I cannot thank them or recommend them enough.
What an amazing group of ladies! I was able to enjoy my wedding with no stress the day of!! Twana and Laura were the best the day of and Twana let me rest easy and assured that everything and everyone would be right where they were supposed to be on my big day. Thank you, Uncommon Camellia!!
Stop searching for a wedding coordinator, because you will not find anyone better than Meryl and her assistant Karina with Uncommon Camelia. After meeting with several well-reviewed coordinators, we hired Meryl due to her stand-out intro meeting and prompt communication. We remained in contact up until the wedding day, and in all of our interactions with Meryl, she was timely, thorough, honest, and knowledgeable. Everyone knows that planning a wedding is daunting, even for the most meticulous planners, but the final stretch of coordination between vendors, musicians, friends, family members, etc. is unmatched. With Meryl, the process was smooth, seamless, and enjoyable. I almost get dizzy trying to imagine doing it without her, it wouldn’t have happened! During the wedding weekend, Meryl exceeded expectations in every way. She was never in the spotlight, but somehow always magically there when you needed her. On multiple occasions, she identified and solved logistical problems before they happened, all without us or anyone in the wedding party knowing. Our drinks (and importantly, our moms’ drinks) were never empty - and she made sure we drank enough water, too. Speaking of our moms, she took extra care to make sure their needs were met all weekend, which was especially important. When all was said and done, we had numerous friends and relatives mention how personally helpful Meryl and Karina were to them. We really could not recommend them more. 10/10, five stars, no notes, just the best!
Laura was a huge help as our day of wedding coordinator! She ensured everything ran smoothly and that all of the details were perfect. She also made sure that we had a great time at our wedding because she handled everything seamlessly the day of.
Uncommon Camellia is AMAZING. My sister and I both used them for our wedding day-of coordinators (Maria Gomila and Torie Barberio). I could not recommend them enough. My getting ready location, ceremony and reception were all at the same place, so I was hesitant to get a coordinator at first. I am beyond glad that I did. Torie took care of everything from setup to cleanup so we didn't have to worry about a thing, but another major help is that she made sure my husband and I didn't miss out on the dance floor or any of the fun at our reception (which is difficult when everyone wants to talk to the bride and groom!). If you're getting married, run don't walk to book Uncommon Camellia!
