Casa Velas Venue

My husband and I recently got married at Casa Velas, and we couldn’t wait to write a review about our experience. From start to finish, it was truly an amazing process. We came to the Casa Velas team with a vision for our dream wedding, and each staff member made it their mission to make it a reality. They truly delivered. Andrea, our wedding coordinator and Velas Wedding Manager, was with us every step of the way. It was really helpful to have a dedicated point of contact throughout the planning process. Because we were hosting a destination wedding, we couldn’t always meet with staff or vendors in person. Andrea made sure that all the important details were communicated and implemented on our wedding day. Part of the Velas wedding package includes a planning visit a few months before your wedding. That’s when you pick the part of the property where you’ll host a ceremony, reception, and other events. You’ll also select your menu with one of Casa Velas’s incredible chefs. We’re so glad we took full advantage of this trip. We got to know the Casa Velas staff and met the team members who were going to work on our wedding. We not only left our planning visit with peace of mind, but were so impressed with how accommodating, helpful, and warm the Casa Velas staff are.

Where do I even begin? My husband and I got married at Casa Velas 1/20-1/23. We chose Casa Velas because we wanted to be able to rent out an entire resort for our larger wedding party and for everyone to be in a beautiful, quaint resort so that it felt like we were all together the entire weekend rather than shuttling around a large resort. We were also drawn to the fact that the resort focused more on quality food than quantity and that we still had full access to the beach by their private beach club, Tau. This was not a standard small destination wedding, this was a large, 140 person, Indian/American fusion wedding with 4 days of events. We are 2 weeks out from our wedding (when I started writing this review) and we can both (along with our families) say that our wedding weekend was hands down greater than we ever dreamed. Casa Velas BLEW US AWAY with their ability to bring their staff together and create the most pleasant, organized and stress-free weekend we could have possibly had.
