Had the wedding of our dreams at the Grand Velas. Andrea, Leslie and Valeria are the best coordinators in the business & made every single aspect of planning so enjoyable & fun. The weekend was ran smoothly & they had full control of every element of each event from our welcome drinks to the after party. Can’t recommend this resort & these 3 wedding coordinators enough. Can’t wait to be back! Also big shoutout to our concierge Stephan who went above & beyond anytime we needed anything.

Words cannot describe how beautiful our wedding and our stay was during our time at Grand Velas. We began our planning more than a year prior to the date. Andrea, Leslie, Valeria, and Fernanda are AMAZING. They were quick to respond and arranged meeting invites to cover our many emails and questions throughout the year, especially as we approached the wedding date. They will make sure your wedding needs are met and they went above and beyond. On the actual day of the wedding, the coordinators were organized and made sure the ceremony and reception went seamlessly. Valeria was even assisting me and my bridesmaids by steaming dresses and stayed by my side to ensure that I, and my now husband, were stress-free. Any time we had a question or concern, Andrea was prompt and she made sure we were satisfied. Leslie and Fernanda were so kind and accommodating to everyone. Wedding planning, especially a destination wedding, can be overwhelming, but these hard-working women took on the challenge and tasks to ensure that we did not worry. Our family and guests were even mentioning how nice the wedding coordinators were and how they were there to always help. On top of that, Grand Velas provided exceptional services and the resort itself as well as the food, cleanliness, activities, servers, concierge, restaurants, and everything were top class, and our guests definitely agreed. Valeria, Andrea, Fernanda, and Leslie worked well together and they really are the "Dream Team". They focused and really cared about our wedding like if it was their own, and that really meant a lot to us. They are all kindhearted and we have gotten close throughout this process and we are going to miss them all. From the start and throughout the process, we were confident that we made the right decision to pick Grand Velas as our venue and our wedding turned out perfect. We will forever cherish and be forever grateful for the effort that these ladies put into our wedding and we highly recommend this venue for any couple that are thinking about their dream destination wedding.

My fiancé and I are getting married there in October. We went there to finalize everything, which included tasting the food for our wedding and our welcome reception. This place is amazing! Everyone was professional and courteous to the highest degree. Our wedding coordinator Fernanda is and has been so helpful and professional. She has responded quickly to all of my questions and concerns and has been very accommodating. She epitomizes customer service and is a true benefit to the Grand Velas. Everything about this place screams luxury. The food, the drinks, the service, the check in...even the wine tasting activity we attended. For us, it was paradise. If you are looking for a loud place with parties every night, this may not be the place for you. This place is very laid back but honestly, there are enough activities to keep one busy. I'll update my review after my wedding in October for those that may be interested in getting married there. I do have some recommendations, but I will wait until after the wedding. I highly recommend this place for a vacation.
