4 years I picked up a camera eight years ago out of a simple desire to be more present in my life. At the time, I was working in London as a graphic designer and it felt like life was moving at such pace. Photography became my practice to slow time. As I honed my skills, I learned I could capture feelings I couldn’t put into words…and I fell in love. Much of my inspiration comes from travelling and I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot worldwide. But right now, I can usually be found at home in Bristol with my partner, Lun, and our cat, Bear — dreaming up our next adventure. It’s second nature to me to tune into people’s moods, the atmosphere in a room or a crowd of people, the sounds I hear, the scents – and this is reflected in my photography which is often sensorial. Before my time as a graphic designer, I studied Fashion and this training has undoubtedly inspired the way I compose and capture interesting frames with story and feeling. My couples mean the world to me and I am constantly in awe of the lasting friendships I make from doing what I love. I feel very lucky. You’ve read my story, now I’d like to hear yours.
