More than we could ever have wished for!
I don't even know where to start. We booked Casa Monte Cristo from the UK, and from the first communication with Victoria we knew we had made the right choice! The entire planning process was simple and seamless, nothing was too much trouble and Victoria literally thought of everything - even things we hadn't considered ourselves!! We visited the venue in the summer before our April 2025 wedding and the team were so accommodating to show us around. The location is simply stunning - only 10 minutes from Lagos but you feel like you are world away, it's so private and the villas have everything you could ever need. We stayed in CMC Cinco and Seis and they were faultless. Beautiful villas, every bedroom en-suite, so much space and the outside areas with the swimming pools - WOW! It was the perfect location for getting ready the morning of the wedding.

The wedding day itself was like a dream. The team at Casa Monte Cristo were phenomenal, we didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day and could just enjoy everything. Victoria and the rest of the team were wonderful from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and they thought of everything! We had a couple of guests with allergies/food preferences and they commented that they have never felt so taken care of. Steve cooks an incredible BBQ - the food was a definite highlight for us and our guests (people are still talking about it!) The whole team were on site all day, making sure everything and everyone was OK. It all felt so relaxed which was exactly what we wanted!

Helen Corrigan was our celebrant, she was just the most lovely person and captured our story so perfectly for us. We then had Gary Vesey play for us during our drinks reception (he is a fantastic performer - highly recommend checking him out!). DJ Double/Wes really got the party started for us, from the first dance right through to our last song of the night!

We decided to have a pizza party on the Sunday for all of our guests, so people from the villas and those staying in Lagos could come back together for food and some drinks at the bar. The pizza van and homemade pizza (Steve has perfected his dough!!) was so so good - I think we managed to devour 30 pizzas in under 2 hours! Again, nothing was too much trouble and personal pizzas were made for those with allergies. It was a lovely way to spend time with everyone and reminisce about the day before.

All in all, it was more than we could have ever imagined and we would highly recommend Casa Monte Cristo to anyone considering a wedding abroad. I honestly think with Victoria and the team at your side, planning was SO much easier than it might have been had we got married in the UK!! We can't thank you enough for making our day and entire wedding weekend so special.

From the moment we started discussing wedding options with Victoria she was most helpful and I knew I could entrust in her to see my vision of our special day from afar.
We arranged a visit to Casa Monte Cristo so we could see the wedding venue and accommodation options and although it was a cooler wet March day we knew it was the place we wanted to get married as the venue still looked beautiful and the accommodation was exactly what I was looking for.

I really liked having the option of all of our guests staying onsite if they wanted to. When our guests arrived on the Thursday they were all blown away with the accommodation and facilities especially the swimming pools. We hired CMC Seis, CMC Cinco, CMC IV, CMC Tres and the cottage - all were equally as beautiful.

We chose to have our ceremony and welcome drink at CMC Tres and reception at CMC Cinco/CMC Seis and it was very easy for guests to walk from one to the other and for any guests that were struggling in heels or on the cobbles/mobility issues Victoria helped them over with the golf buggy.

The service at CMC Tres was beautiful and the weather was fabulous so it really made that sea view extra special. Helen the celebrant was amazing and created the perfect ceremony. Grant was especially impressed as it was the part he was nervous about the most and he really enjoyed it.
Victoria then escorted Grant and I down to the Wedding Land via golf buggy ready for the reception entrance and made us feel really at ease. She had organised for everyone to be waiting with drinks in hand.

The rest of the day was all organised perfectly by Victoria from start to finish the set up with the DJs (Algarve DJ hire) was brilliant and they really did play the best songs from my playlist to get the dance floor going. The free flowing drinks were also a plus.

Lastly how could I forget the food this was an absolute highlight for all of us. Grant and I love our food so knew we wanted this to be a real centre point for our wedding and it did not disappoint.
The amount of people that said it was the best wedding food they have ever had and in fact the best wedding was music to our ears.

In terms of location it was so easy to book taxis via Bolt into Lagos itself for around 5€.

We will never forget our special day and wish we could do it all over again, thanks Victoria and team we couldn’t have done it without you!

My husband and I stumbled upon Casa Monte Cristo Collection, and are so happy we did!! We had the wedding of our DREAMS here thanks to Victoria, Steve, and their amazing team. My husband and I will forever be thankful for the amazing job they did to make our day more than we could have ever imagined. From the first meeting, the emails in between, the check in, the welcome
dinner, wedding day, to check out everything was flawless. Stunning location, fabulous food, and immaculate service from the team. We booked this site unseen from out of the country, and Victoria made sure we felt secure and confident every step of the way. All of our guests had an equally amazing time too! If you’re thinking of booking here - do it!!! You will have no regrets. We would rate 10000000000/5 if we could!!! Highly highly recommend!!!
