TSWED made my wedding day a dream come true! The ceremony went smoothly, cocktail hour was perfect, and the reception was so much fun! There are not enough words to describe how happy we are with how our wedding day turned out! TSWED made planning my wedding all the way from Chicago so easy and stress free and went above and beyond with every detail. I am going to miss emailing with TSWED, but we will have the memories of the magical wedding day she planned for us! Thank you TSWED!

Stop everything and have your wedding in Maui with TSWED Weddings! Ours was perfection. I said the following to my husband this morning: “Every time I look at my email inbox and see old messages from TSWED, I actually feel sad that the wedding planning part is over”. If that isn’t a ringing endorsement for this company, for Taryn, and for TSWED specifically, I don’t know what is. Let’s put it this way: wedding planning is generally stressful, expensive, tedious, and not that fun. But with TSWED and TSWED Weddings, that was not the case. We actually had fun getting on Skype with her (she planned and executed our entire wedding from Hawaii while we live overseas in Korea!!) and chatting easily and comfortably about our ideas and our vision for the big day. TSWED is the perfect combination of laid back and organized. She will make you feel at ease. She will tell you the truth about the cost and the reality of your vision, but will also offer innovative suggestions that will help you push through challenges in your planning. At moments throughout the planning process, when I started to feel the very normal frustration and stress that all brides feel, TSWED would calmly talk me through whatever was worrying me and I would come away feeling relieved and excited about the day afresh. At the beginning of our destination wedding search, my husband and I Skyped with several different prospective wedding coordinators. When we met Taryn, we felt instantly that TSWED Weddings would work hard to make our wedding exactly what we envisioned. Although we definitely went over budget (I feel like that’s almost unavoidable in wedding planning) we always felt that the company, and TSWED herself, worked to find cost-effective options for us. Working with TSWED at TSWED Weddings allowed us to have (and I truly mean this) the best day of our lives. We would do it all over in a heartbeat. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am for our wedding planner Dani and the rest of the staff at Taryn Stark Wyant Event Planning and Design. My fiancé and I knew that we wanted to have a destination wedding in Maui so while his parents were there, they went and checked out a couple of venues for us. When they went to Olowalu Plantation house, they were able to meet the TSWED team and were blown away by the venue and their work. We instantly knew that this was the venue we wanted to get married at and the team we wanted to help us achieve our dream wedding. The entire time we were planning our wedding, we were in College at Boise State. Even though we were insanely busy and there was a huge time difference, Dani was able to keep our wedding planning on schedule and was incredibly patient with us. Together we were able to create the perfect “Mood Board” that would then become the inspiration for our entire wedding. Dani always strived to make sure our vision was at the forefront but also pushed me outside of my comfort zone to truly create us a special and unique wedding. Before Dani went on maternity leave in July, we had nearly every detail for our wedding hashed out. While she was gone, Taryn was always there to answer our question and make us feel reassured that everything was in order. Though I was a little nervous to be Dani’s first wedding back from maternity leave, she literally did not skip a beat. During the rehearsal, she was focused, concise and prepared. There was no confusion and everybody knew exactly what they were suppose to be doing the day of the wedding. On our wedding day, we were absolutely blowed away by Dani and her team for going above and beyond! There were so many details that went into our wedding that we never expected and it well exceeded our wildest expectations! The day went literally flawlessly and Dani was able to keep us perfectly on scheduled. It was amazing! We were able to enjoy our special day stress free because we knew that Dani and her team were there for us and knew exactly what they were doing! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Taryn and her team. She is beyond helpful, organized, and kind. My husband and I decided to get married with very little time to plan... Very spontaneous!! Taryn put so much detail into our ceremony, you would have thought we planned it for months! She made our day so beautiful, special, and easy. We got to just have fun and enjoy ourselves. We get so many friends asking us how we planned such a special ceremony.... the only answer is to THANK TARYN!

I'm based in California and plan corporate events as my occupation, but knew I needed someone local to Maui who had the knowledge, the vendor relationships, could help me figure out my vision for our wedding, and execute on it. I also knew I needed someone who could gently push me along when planning the wedding began to feel like an extension of my job. :) TSWED excelled at all of this...and more! We had a long engagement and I went from not knowing what I wanted for our wedding vision, to having a very precise idea of I wanted (in the last month or so!)

But TSWED took it all in in stride with a positive and upbeat attitude. TSWED provided a great list of vendors, but was open to working with a few I found on my own. She was very responsive and did a great job executing all of my requests. Our wedding day was perfect and I'm so thankful for everything that TSWED did to make it that way!

I've never been one of those gals who dreamt about my perfect wedding, and the idea of planning a wedding was totally daunting. Taryn and Dani helped us dream and build out a wedding [weekend] that was indeed perfect. We had a lot of unique and particular wishes and they made it all happen- and even with a little added magic! During the planning process, they worked around our crazy schedules, supported us when tough situations arose and planned all of our auxiliary events- in other words they're way more than just your regular wedding planners! We would not be able to have done it without them.
