EJW team are truly the best in the business, they are all-stars that help you to create your vision and execute it seamlessly. Elyse is a visionary and her design of our wedding was even better than I had envisioned. Ashley is the details queen and helped to ensure all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed so that we literally had nothing to worry about. I'm an extremely type A person and have issues not having control, but with these ladies it was easy to put my trust in them and they did not disappoint. I feel like 5 stars is not enough!!!!

Words truly cannot express our gratitude for Elyse, Ashley and the whole EJW team! Hiring them was by far the best decision we could have made. We utilized the Something More package which suited our needs perfectly. As a hyper organized person, I was super impressed from the start with the Google Drive folder they set up for us and all their templates. I found the vendor recommendations to be extraordinarily helpful as there are so many options to choose from. The day we reviewed the design plan was so lovely and the team made everything so fun. It was incredible to see how the team brought words and ideas to life. I was so relieved to hand everything over to the team the month before our wedding and they handled everything with such ease and grace. Everyone kept telling my fiance and I how calm we seemed and this was all due to the EJW team. We felt like a King and a Queen on our wedding day. They thought of every detail - from when to hand me my reception shoes and earrings, to literally brushing my hair before our dinner speeches. They anticipated every need we could have had. They even made sure all of our items (bouquet, wedding cake, veil, etc.) made it back to our hotel rooms. Our wedding was the most perfect day we could have dreamed of. I'll never forget when we walked into our dinner at the wedding - how beautiful everything looked. The EJW team made the design plan come to life. It was better than I could have ever imagined. Even members of our wedding party who had recently gotten married were going out of their way to voice how amazing the EJW team was handling everything. To be worry free on your wedding day and be able to enjoy every second is truly priceless.

Elyse & Ashley we’re BEYOND a dream to work with. From the start they fully understood our vision our wedding 10000% exceeded our expectations. I never felt stressed throughout the process because Elyse’s team took care of everything in such an organized manner. They made me feel so calm during my wedding weekend and I am forever grateful for that. All of my guests said it was the most fun, magical wedding they had ever been to, and I can’t recommend working with Elyse and her team enough!

Working with Elyse and Ashley was one of the best decisions we could have made. They took charge of every detail while we were able to focus on building a house, moving, and our full time jobs. We truly could not have done this without them. Their positive attitudes are just what any bride needs. They created a vision with me and executed it better than I could have imagined. My husband Dylan and I loved working with Elyse and Ashley. We came to them with a vague idea of what we wanted: tropical party meets English countryside elegance and they helped us make that into a reality. Elyse has a great eye for design, and she has RANGE. I’m telling you— she will absolutely crush a fairytale wedding kind of vibe, with overflowing roses and candles galore, or — as it was for me— she can make your particular dreams come true in a way that exceeded my own expectations. Truly, these two are not only very talented, but they are great listeners, they are diplomatic in dealing with strong opinions from mothers, and they are genuinely trying to make your dream-wedding come true. Not to mention, I found their services to be well priced for the level of white-glove service we received.

Elyse helped us with every step of the process-- from booking the venue, the photographer (shoutout Lance Nicholl!), ceremony musicians, second-line musicians, a great 12-piece band, a florist who understood our vision, caterers, renting out a boutique hotel and setting up the room block at Hotel Peter and Paul, finding a videographer, locking in hair and make up (shoutout to Haley Rose and Melissa Vaccaro!! the best)-- the list goes on! Not only that, but she also helped us make custom pieces that perfectly fit our vibe— from a wooden backdrop for Marigny Opera House to adding fabric to the bar and the backs of seats that matched our napkins, to utilizing Scriptura to bring our mascot Franklin (a frog drawn by NOLA artist Coco Schramel) to custom hankies, matchbooks, cups, and koozies. When we wanted to cut back some of the price, Elyse helped us find places to trim that would maintain our look but help us feel more relaxed in our wallets.

Similarly, Ashley is such a pleasure to work with — I really enjoyed Ashley’s practicality and upfrontness in how she communicated with us. Ashley kept us within budget and on schedule to pay all of our deposits and final payments, which can be hard to keep track of. Our budget excel sheet was super clear and consistently updated, and our entire Google Drive of documents, which ends up being a LOT of stuff, was always well maintained and easy to track. As I was planning the wedding from Los Angeles, Elyse and Ashley were invaluable in finding and locking in the top vendors in New Orleans— from florist, to caterers, hair and make up, hotel, etc. We found out about Melrose Mansion through Elyse and Ashley, and ended up renting out the hotel for the wedding party. I especially found Elyse and Ashley helpful during this portion, as it got a bit complicated with how our friends would pay for their rooms and how we would be reimbursed. Ashley made us an Excel sheet that helped us track the type and cost of the room, and was a liaison between us and the hotel.

This is just one of many examples of how they helped to smooth out the planning process. Whether you are local to New Orleans or if you are planning a destination wedding, I highly recommend Elyse and Ashley. Thank you both for everything!

We really cannot say enough amazing things about Elyse Jennings and her team!!! Although I only did the month before package, Elyse and Ashley put SO much thought, time, and care into making our wedding day run perfectly smooth. They literally do not miss any detail and are so easy to work and communicate with!! Elyse and her team are beyond professional— our wedding party is still talking about how amazing they were. Elyse and Ashley called us a month out and we had a 3.5 hour call that we discussed any and everything possible. After that call, her and Ashley put together the most incredible packet of things that were done, things that still needed to be done, and even suggestions on many little things we did not even think of!!! At our rehearsal, she gave a thorough run through of how the day would go and had programs made with a minute by minute schedule of the wedding day for the wedding party! On the day of the wedding, Elyse, Ashley, and Andrea took full control. I literally had nothing to worry about because they had EVERYTHING covered. I can honestly say that our wedding or wedding day would not have been as magical if it were not for Elyse Jennings and her crew. They brought all of my planning to life in just a months time. If you’re on the fence about spending the money for her planning, I can easily and honestly say she was THE BEST money spent for all her and her team do. I will forever tell brides they NEED Elyse Jennings Weddings as their coordinator!!!!
