Im your typical Type A bride that wants everything to be PERFECT! From the second I met Lauryn I knew that she was the planner for me. After we came up with my overall theme she went right to work mapping out my wedding from start to finish. Her knowledge of the industry was apparent through her selection of top notch vendors that were perfectly suited to my tastes. She played careful attention to our budget giving me suggestions when something I selected would exceed what I wanted to spend. Lauryn exceeded our expectations and friends and family still talk about how amazing our wedding was down to the very smallest detail. She got to know my husband and I and the extra time she took to do that helped her personalize our wedding even more. We love Lauryn so much that we just hired her to plan my daughters 1st birthday party and we plan to use her again for my upcoming Sprinkle Baby Shower and many more events to come.

I had the great pleasure of working with Lauryn Prattes on my recent wedding at the St. Regis in D.C. I first spoke with Lauryn around 6 months before my wedding after my fiance and I had to break our contract with our original wedding planner. I was very stressed to have to start over and look for another planner, but Lauryn made the process and my decision so easy. She took the time to get a sense of what look I wanted my wedding to have and then she told me about what services she could offer me. I had seen a photo shoot she had styled in a wedding magazine and was so impressed with how beautiful it was, but it was also very similar to the look I wanted for my own wedding, so when I e-mailed her to inquire about availability, I had really hoped she would be available for my wedding. During our initial phone call, Lauryn even gave me some great planning ideas and suggestions before I had even decided if we would work together. Not long after, we were able to meet face to face. After a great meeting, I decided that I had to work with Lauryn for my wedding. She was able to offer me such great ideas and also had great contacts for linen vendors in California which I loved. In the months before the wedding, Lauryn was always available by e-mail or phone to answer my questions or to talk through some planning ideas with me. When it came time to pick our linens, she brought some really great choices and I found some that I loved. She thought of everything to help make my wedding so special. Unfortunately, Lauryn was not able to be the day-of-planner for my wedding since she was already contracted with another wedding, but she put me in contact with Jackie from Table 6 in Florida to help coordinate things on the day of. Along with Lauyn's assistant, Maddie's help, my day could not have been more perfect. Even with the rain which caused us to move our ceremony from outside to inside, Jackie and Maddie made sure everything looked perfect. Lauryn even took the time to come over and helped style and set-up for my wedding. I knew that even though she was not able to be there the entire time, she would make things perfect and flawless and she truly did. The wedding turned out to be even more perfect and beautiful that we could have imagined and our guests were blown away by how wonderful everything looked. I feel so fortunate to have had Lauryn as my wedding planner. She is so professional, has a great sense of style and loves to think of little details to make your wedding unique. She is just so creative and always thinking of different ways to style things. Our wedding guests even commented on how much detail there was to our wedding. Lauryn had a wonderful relationship with all of my vendors. They all loved her! I'm sure more of Lauryn's styled photo shoots and weddings will be featured in so many more wedding magazines to come and I can't wait to see them. I will truly miss our daily e-mails back and forth about the wedding. I wish I could do it all over again just so I could get to work with Lauryn again. I highly, highly recommend her!

With our wedding now being 4 months past, my wife and I still continue to hear what a great event and experience it was for each of our guest. We owe this to Table 6 production, but specifically to the amazing Lauryn Prattes. Lauryn took the ideas of my wife and turned them into more than either of us could have imagined. We owe our amazing day to Lauryn and all her hard work throughout the entire process. She continued to think of ways to expand on our ideas, and we were both grateful and appreciative of her expertise, hard-work, and ability to help us make our day one to remember.

After I got engaged I was so excited to finally be able to plan my dream wedding. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I didn't want. One thing was for sure, I didn't need to spend money on a wedding planner since I had a mother and two sisters who were ready and willing to plan the hell out of a wedding. 'Wedding planner' wasn't even in the initial conversation for me. My fiancé, on the other hand, had different plans. Having just started a very intense graduate program, he knew it would equal more stress if we didn't so he insisted that we hire a coordinator. It was the best advice I could have ever taken. Working with Lauryn definitely took the edge off the whole process. She definitely works as a jane of all trades when it comes to wedding planning. Not only is she an amazing planner, but she also acted as a friend when I had buyer's remorse for a dress I purchased. Her sense of style is a young bride's dream! I gave Lauryn many ideas about what I wanted and right away she understood me. Even better than that, she would elaborate on my ideas and provide suggestions that were head-on. When our wedding day came, I can't tell you enough how happy I was to finally see that my dream wedding had really come true. It was that moment that I realized how important it was to have hired Lauryn. It's been almost four months since our wedding day and we still have family and friends who talk about how fun and beautiful it was. I can't thank her enough for being so dedicated and really helping us to plan the wedding we envisioned. If you're still debating the idea of whether or not to hire a wedding planner, stop. Hiring Lauryn will be the best decision you will ever make on your journey to marriage. She won't disappoint!

I highly recommend Ramsey Stewart and Lauryn Prattes Events to anyone who is looking for professional, kind, and top-level wedding planners. I personally worked with Ramsey Stewart and can say first hand that her attention to detail supersedes everyone I’ve come across in the industry. Her passion for creating memorable and personalized events for her clients is admirable. Ramsey eats, sleeps, and breathes all things weddings. She knows the industry like the back of her hand, and any idea or vision I had she found the way to make it happen. She is easy to communicate with, and brings a lightness and fun energy to things that could otherwise feel stressful. She is professional, but also makes you feel like a friend after just one phone call. She is a powerhouse in the business and a force to be reckoned with. She moves mountains for her clients and makes it look effortless. The review below is surprising to me as it is the complete opposite of everything I experienced. The only thing I can think of is that Ramsey recently had a baby and was on maternity leave so that may be what the reviewer is referring too. That said, I can’t imagine Ramsey or Lauryn leaving a client in the dust as described.

I did not want a wedding planner. Actually, that's an understatement. At the start of my planning process, I was convinced that I could do everything by myself and needed neither help nor influence along the way. I am genuinely ecstatic to say that I was entirely wrong. Lauryn Prattes is fabulous - as a planner, confidante, designer and friend. As I write this, my now husband keeps interjecting encouraging words to add to my hopefully glowing review. Lauryn guided me through the wedding process - with both impeccable style influence and crafty budgeting solutions. The end product and celebration was individualistic, romantic. elegant, fun, and, most importantly, me. She has an eye for drama and enough restraint to appeal to the most classic eye. I would recommend her to plan my best friend's wedding, a fabulous DC affair, a quaint baby shower, or a glamorous New Years shindig. I am so thankful to have had Lauryn Prattes guide me along the way to my incredible wedding. You would be more than lucky to have her by your side on your special day. She is phenomenal and worth every penny (and more).

The best thing we did was hire Lauryn Prattes and Ramsey Stewart to plan our wedding. They made us and our families feel so comfortable and taken care of from our very first meeting. These girls and their associates made our planning such an enjoyable and fun experience that we will never forget. Ramsey and Lauryn were so hands on from start to finish and the design they created for us was beyond our wildest dreams. Our guests still comment to us about how our wedding was the most beautiful and seamless event they’ve ever attended. Although we went slightly over our initial budget, Ramsey and Lauryn were transparent throughout the process and offered us ways to provide savings along the way. The biggest help was having them to advise us on how to create the most impact with our budget. We understood that pricing dramatically increased across the board due to the pandemic and supply chain issues. Other friends of ours planning weddings at the same time in different cities with different vendors had similar experiences due to inflation.
