It's hard to put into words the relationship and work Mazi events had done for us. After years of having to pivot and re schedule THREE times, they ended up exceeding my expectation with professionalism, creativity, perfectionism, friendliness, caring and more.
This was planned abroad, as we living east of Toronto, I interviewed many wedding planners and none felt right, until I met virtually with Iokasti!
She totally understood the feeling of luxe, natural organic and timeless. She always had our best interest in mind and made fantastic contracts with people in the business.
Our wedding was held on a private property (that we had never seen prior to), she went and did sight visits, facetimed us, took photos and of course all proper measurements for everything we were asking in regards to layout.
As the wedding was on an island Crete, some logistics include but not limited to, renting tables from Santorini which came by boat, catering from Santorini, and last minute our videographer backed out and she found an incredible replacement (better than our original one we had booked).
Overall everything she created for us was PERFECT. It can be scary planning abroad but Mazi Events made it seamless.

One year ago, my husband and I hosted the wedding of our dreams in Athens Riviera. We found Thanos and Iokasti on Pinterest and knew instantly that they would approach our event design and execution with diligence, care and enthusiasm. They did not disappoint.

My now-husband and I have worked with the Mazi team over the past year and a half to plan our wedding day in the Athens Riviera. We’re from America and it was important to us that we found a wedding planner that we could trust from over 5,000 miles away to help execute the wedding day of our dreams.
Iokasti and Thanos have been absolutely incredible to work with. They are extremely talented in every way and our wedding was well designed, with every detail meticulously planned and perfectly executed. They are creative, organized, great communicators and just all-around beautiful people to work with. Iokasti and Thanos created a personal relationship with us and their care, professionalism and commitment was displayed every step of the way in this process.

Hello Iokasti! Hope you’re doing well! We miss you both! We can’t get over how beautiful everything was!! Thank you to you and Thanos for making our day so perfect and memorable! It was so surreal seeing the 3D designs and sketches come to life! Our family and friends have not stopped talking about how beautiful everything was especially the tailor-made rock stage and dessert station! We couldn’t have asked for better wedding planners!
Thanks to the team of MAZI Events our wedding day became the most cherished memory of our lives! From start to finish they were always one step ahead guiding and helping us with every decision concerning our big day. Their impeccable planning and professional delivery actually made the entire preparation a fun experience that we now look back on with a smile!
