I want you to know I am more than a photographer or videographer. I’m a tourguide, locationscout, adventurebuddy, timemanager, dressfixer, personal cheerleader and so much more! I’d like to help where I can to make your day as perfect as possible. After getting to know you and your wishes, I can suggest the perfect location & vendors, I can give you tips for the best light situations & other preparations. I don’t see you as a ‘customer’, but as a friend that I want to have the best experience. So far I have captured more than 100 weddings, in & outside of Belgium. I will be by your side every step of the way. Calming you down when you feel stressed, talking to vendors to make sure everything is alright, fixing the groom’s tie if needed, making you laugh & relax during the photosession. I will not make you pose like a mannequin, but help create spontaneous moments between you two so the photos turn out to be totally you! And we’ll have a whole lot of fun, that’s for sure.

Een geweldige partner, een paar ringen, goed weer en Nikki als fotografe en je hebt het ideale recept voor een onvergetelijke trouw! Nikki was meer dan alleen de fotograaf op onze trouw maar ook onze trouwplanner, ceremoniemeester en personal cheerleader in één. Nikki is een echte pitbull als het gaat om alles in goede banen leiden maar wel op een warme, charmante en ontzettend professionele manier. Niet voor niets dat bijna al onze gasten dachten dat ze een vriendin was die we al jaren kenden van onze tijd in Gent, terwijl we haar in werkelijk nog maar een paar keer hadden gezien. Als je een fotograaf zoekt die alles uit de kast haalt, je aan het lachen maakt én je dag nog mooier maakt, zoek dan niet verder. Nikki Lucy Photography is de beste keuze die je kunt maken!
Nikki legde 4 jaar geleden ons huwelijk vast op foto en dit weekend deden wij bij haar een kerst fotoshoot. Kort en bondig: Waw waw waw! Wat legt ze alles zo mooi en kleurrijk vast. Ze is een droom om mee te werken, altijd goedlachs en heel professioneel! Een echte aanrader!
Voor je verder leest val ik alvast met de deur in huis: Zoek niet verder, Nikki kan jouw speciaal moment vastleggen voor eeuwig met haar prachtige stijl! Vijf sterren is echt niet genoeg voor deze review!
Een tijdje geleden was ze onze fotograaf voor zowel een leuke verlovingssessie en onze trouw. Vanaf minuut 1 zorgde ze voor de nodige sfeer en gezelligheid (een dikke 10!) waardoor we meteen op ons gemak waren. Ook onze gasten hadden alleen maar lovende woorden voor haar! Uiteraard gaat het niet enkel om de gezelligheid, maar ook over het resultaat en het enige dat ik daarover kan zeggen is: wauw. Nikki heeft een soort zesde zintuig voor het nemen van perfecte foto’s. De looks, de compositie, de finish: het zit allemaal dik in orde! Ook de albums die we erna kregen waren top! Super vlotte communicatie en echt een prachtig product waar we op kunnen terug kijken naar onze speciale dag.

Wij hadden het geluk dat Nikki nog beschikbaar was om onze trouw te fotograferen. Zoals ze had beloofd is ze er inderdaad in geslaagd om de fotoshoot zeer leuk te laten verlopen, zonder dat je daarbij onwennig voor de lens staat. Tijdens de ceremonie en receptie filmde ze alles ook met als resultaat een zalig filmpje om achteraf naar terug te kijken! We zijn ontzettend blij met het eindresultaat en kunnen haar absoluut aanraden!
Één blik op haar instapagina zorgde ervoor dat we nikki wilden boeken voor ons huwelijksfeest. Jammer genoeg was Nikki zelf niet meer beschikbaar. Ze stuurde Gilles vandamme naar ons feest en zij werkte de foto's af.
Mijn eerste reactie op de foto's was.
Nooit gedacht dat het mogelijk was om ons zo mooi in beeld te brengen. Bij de foto's voel ik elke emotie van die dag terug.
Contact met nikki was heel toegankelijk en aangenaam ze weet wat ze doen en luistert naar wat de wensen zijn. De afwerking van foto's zijn echt WOW.

Als ik Nikki meer dan 5 sterren kon geven, dan deed ik het. We hadden voor ons trouwfeest een koppelsessie met Nikki en ook op onze trouw was ze aanwezig. Bedankt voor alles, lieve Nikki! Zo tevreden! We wensen je veel succes met alles wat nog volgt in je leven en raden je aan iedereen aan: mensen zijn gewoonweg gek als ze jou niet kiezen voor hun foto's! Dikke, dikke merci ook een shoutout naar de videograaf waar Nikki mee samenwerkt. Samen vormen ze zo'n heerlijk duo, zo'n heerlijke tandem waardoor wij ons de hele dag op ons gemak voelden. Bedankt.
Wat kan ik nog zeggen over Nikki Lucy dan dat ze een enorm goede fotograaf is... Tijdens het zoeken naar een trouwfotograaf refereerde een collega haar aan ons. We hadden er al heel veel bekeken, maar werden pas echt helemaal verliefd toen we naar de foto's van Nikki Lucy keken. Het leven dat in de kleuren en de momenten zitten zijn niet te vergelijken. Nikki Lucy legt niet enkel beelden vast, maar momenten die je voor het leven bijhoudt. Ze is ook gewoon een enorm leuk persoon die je meteen goed doet voelen in je vel & het voelde oprecht aan alsof we haar al jaren kende. Kortom: ze weet wat ze doet & ze doet het zo goed. Elke cent waard om haar in te huren!
