I love that I get to be part of such an exciting, emotional and joyful day for the bride and groom and their friends and family. I feel honoured to be brought into the inner circle of a very intimate and personal time in someone’s life and documenting that day for them. From a social aspect, I really enjoy the interaction with everyone on the day, but I do tend to counterbalance that with not being too imposing or intrusive; I’m not really interested in injecting myself into the proceedings and directing someone’s wedding day to conform to an idealised idea I might have of how it should all look. For me, it’s all about getting at the soul of the bride and groom, capturing the moments honestly and truthfully, yet in an aesthetically pleasing and artistic way.

PHENOMENAL wedding photographer! Every photo Joe takes is a work of art, and we have treasured the spectacular images he made for us. He has a great eye for capturing heartfelt moments, utilizing natural light, and working a scene. He is also a joy to work with, which is so important given how much time you will spend together on your wedding day.
Joe put in TONS of effort for our wedding. He delivered over a thousand fully edited, beautiful images; that truly blew us away. Because he invests so much time and effort into each wedding, he does only a limited number of weddings – so book him far in advance! It was the best investment we made.

Where do we begin? It's not often that we take the time to try and craft a review eloquent enough to express our appreciation for actual talent. Let's get right to it: Joe is genuinely gifted at what he does. Photography aside, Joe and his team are artists, with some influential muse and focus that creates photos that supersede expectations. His demeanor is charming and witty-- but also direct-- which is a necessary trait for a "conductor" orchestrating a composition. His ability to control crowds of subjects in a timely fashion, capture scenic moments and frames, as well as to "imagineer" on the spot is truly something we have not experienced with a photographer before.
His ability to spontaneously pivot into an idea, thinking in silhouettes, manipulations of light and scale, and the excitement behind it were all genuine of someone who finds pride in what they do. He has a true, natural, and innate understanding for beauty and balance; after all, he managed to make ME look good in quite a few photos (Difficulty level: EXPERT) - though we know Vivi is much more camera happy.
