My husband and I visited Dubrovnik 7 years ago and completely fell in love with the city.  We talked about getting married there, which at the time, just seemed like dream. When it came time to plan our wedding, we found Dubrovnik Events (DE) and from the beginning knew we could trust their team throughout the entire process. The concept of planning a wedding halfway across the world may seem crazy to some. With the help of the DE team the process could not have been more seamless, stress-free and FUN. Any wish or request was paid attention to. Their communication was beyond timely and attention to detail was meticulous. In addition to planning our big day, DE coordinated our welcome event at Ponat Beach Bar as well as the after party at Club Revelin. Every aspect turned out beautiful, elegant and unlike anything our friends and family have ever experienced. Nearly everyone has said that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. We are still talking about our floral arrangements and the flower chandelier! The wedding day could have not gone more smoothly, we felt like everything was in good hands and we could enjoy the day. Ora was present during every aspect of the wedding weekend to make sure everything was flawless and that we were taken care of. We could not recommend Dubrovnik Event more to anyone interested in planning a wedding in Croatia. They handled the entire planning process with the utmost professionalism, grace and great attentiveness. Ines, Matea and Ora thank you for not only making our dreams come true but creating a fairy tale that we will continue to reminisce forever. Your team is a treasure and single handedly the best decision we made for our big day.

We’ve finally landed back down to earth from our amazing wedding in Cavtat. Not sure how to put into words the experience of the whole day…but we’ll give it a go! From the first meeting with Matea, we knew it was going to be slick. We had great advice on suppliers as well as the flow of the day. They also provided useful advice in terms of the legalities process which can be quite tricky from a UK perspective. Nothing was too much trouble and we had prompt responses throughout. Ora did a fantastic job at bringing to life our coastal design vision, it was gorgeous. Not only are Dubrovnik Events fantastic to work with during the planning, they’re also a great group of people to have with you on the day and make it super fun. I am really not even sure where to begin with this review. This company and team were so pivotal to the success of our micro wedding! Every single detail was exactly what we wanted even with major weather issues the day before our ceremony that delayed our Old Town Photo Shoot till the day after the wedding. I reached out to DE in November 2023 and was introduced to Matea and Ines initially. They were so gracious, inquired about what we wanted and what our timeline was and I felt immediately comfortable based on this page and their social media. We had decided on an elopement/micro wedding from the beginning and the team was incredibly equip to handle that. After the holiday season, we began reviewing vendors and selecting who we’d like to engage with/ taking suggestions from the team. We met Ora around this time who became our main point of contact and is a literal god-send of a human being and now friend. She was 100% the reason our wedding went off so beautifully, from our perspective at least. Her tenacity, diligence, patience, care and personality all so valuable and wonderful for this business and anyone lucky enough to have her manage your wedding/vendors. She cares so much about you feeling happy, comfortable, calm and enjoying your wedding planning and day. Trust this teams judgement- we worked with Le Salon for Florals who absolutely created a bouquet and flower arrangement that was more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. We worked with Barbara and Dube at Salon Up for hair and makeup who were able to navigate and execute exactly what I wanted l to feel gorgeous on the day and the next day :) finally, we worked with Fabijan and his wife, Ivana and they were another highlight pair of the trip. We were so comfortable with them and they were able to coach us to get us the most stunning photos with multiple locations. The coordination and relationships that DE has throughout Dubrovnik are pivotal to execute such a wonderful event. I loved working with this team and truly am forever grateful for Ora. Thank you all for making our day incredibly memorable and perfect!

From the moment we met Ines, we knew we would choose Dubrovnik Event.  She made us feel so reassured and calm.  Matea then planned the perfect wedding for us, we had multiple locations, transfers and she brought it all together seamlessly.  I’m not sure we were the easiest couple, with lots of questions and reassurance required but Matea handled it all perfectly.

On the day, any logistical issues were handled without us even knowing about it and the day ran perfectly.  We could not have wished for a better day.  None of this would have been possible without Matea, Ines and the team.  Thank you so much!

Matea and the team at Dubrovnik Event helped us to create our fairytale wedding. They were there for us every step of the way and all of our goals and aspirations were met and our wedding day exceeded our expectations.
During the planning process Matea was able to provide recommendations to perfectly suit our requests. She was able to achieve this within budget guidelines, maintaining the theme of the wedding and delivering the service with a very high level of professionalism.
On the wedding day itself we had multiple locations, multiple transport and logistics requirements and a very specific experience that we wanted to provide to ourselves, our families and our guests. The wedding day ran like clock work. Everything was on time, to the highest standards and we were provided with a stress free day to enjoy the party with our friends and family. Most of the guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
We thank Matea and her team for helping us to achieve the best day of our lives and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

The entire experience was exceptional - from the DJ to the musicians and the talented sax player, everyone involved truly nailed it. Our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and for many, it was their first time in Croatia. They're already excited to come back!
