Top 5 Wedding planning happened very organically. It started with children's parties, then quickly led to an invitation to write a book about party decorations, which paved the way for corporate events, and then came the first wedding. It was for a wonderful couple whose biggest wish was for their family to be proud of them and to have a lot of fun. I don’t know if it was inspiration or a calling, but when my mother passed away, I spent a lot of time just watching TV, and the only thing that would stop me from crying was watching *Say Yes to the Dress*. I think it was a sign that I was meant to be connected to brides and weddings.
