Top 10 I took an early interest in photography thanks to my father, a passionate amateur photographer who was constantly documenting our family. I can remember spending hours pouring over old photo albums, captivated by the magic of feeling transported into the past. I became fascinated with the way a photo can tell a story, framing our memories and shaping the way we see the world. I pursued my love for image-making at The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Since then my wedding photography has been featured in many publications, including Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine, The Knot Magazine, Philadelphia Weddings and Style Me Pretty. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2008, and since 2012 I have focused my efforts on weddings. I've had the pleasure of creating many meaningful relationships with my couples, often continuing to document their families as they grow.

It is impossible for me to sum up how fabulous Emily was as our wedding photographer. Between having our child and having to capture a 1 year old on such a chaos day, she got some photos that captured the beauty of our family perfectly. She was professional and kind, she had amazing ideas and she loved our party energy. She captured every moment of joy and happiness. The beauty of the pictures speak for themselves, we never had to worry about one thing she had everyone ready to go and made sure we got all our family photos and important people. Working with Emily and Gregg was an absolute dream and one of the best decisions we made in our planning process! Their talent and kindness is immeasurable and hard to put into words. We knew we wanted to use both Emily and Gregg as soon as we saw their work and had preliminary conversations with them. We have been laughing and crying looking over the photos and videos in the very best way. It was an honor to have such a fun loving and energetic team capturing our special day. We had Emily, Gregg, Gabby, Nick, and Stan on photo/video for our wedding weekend, and the entire team are true professionals. The attention to detail is simply unparalleled. From adjusting the train of my dress to the perfect position, to micing my husband up for our private vows so we could record them but then physically giving us more space so the vows could feel private... Emily and her team know the precise moments when it's best that they disappear into the periphery versus when to get up close and personal with us to inject some humor into a moment with us. This sensitivity and awareness is key when photographing a wedding day and the team could not have executed their jobs more flawlessly. Stan did an incredible job with our film shots, Gabby was an absolute joy to work with at our rehearsal dinner, and Nick, clad with a miniature speaker on his belt loop, was on the money all day capturing the groomsmen and assisting as second shooter for the rest of the day. Emily, Gregg, and the team are not only true artists and professionals, but they are genuinely the most high quality humans and the exact type of people you want to surround you on the most important day of your life. We truly feel they are apart of our village now! It is a special privilege to share your wedding day with a couple who obviously loves each other so much because it uplifts the whole vibe of your day- trust me, hire them both!! Our only regret about hiring Emily Wren photography and Wren Films is that we don't have another event coming up in the near future. We're chomping at the bit for our next excuse to hire them again!
Hiring Emily and her husband Gregg as our photographer and videographer was the best decision ever. Emily was the first vendor I hired and set the tone for the rest of my planning process. She was professional and understanding from day 1, she truly is the best of the best. Her expertise helped ease all my stress on the day of my wedding as the weather impacted our day of plan. She managed all of our family and wedding party so seenlessly and was able to grab every shot we asked for. By the end of the night Emily, Nick, and Gregg were part of our family and joined us on the dance floor for a final moment together.
