Photographer Lux Visual Storytellers About me

Carolina Mosquera, based in Bruges and Amsterdam, is an experienced wedding photographer who, together with her Lux team, photographs weddings worldwide. From Iceland, Cuba, Italy, and many places in between, their work is internationally recognized. Carolina, born in Colombia and raised in Belgium, has four children with her husband and co-founder, Maarten. After earning a master's degree in sculpture, she worked with haute couture designer Iris Van Herpen and the high-end lingerie label Bordelle. Lux specializes in professional wedding photography and videography, capturing genuine emotions and special details. We love building a genuine connection with the couple, their friends, and family. This way, we become part of the group, and the photos turn out much more spontaneous. Additionally, we enjoy capturing everything in detail: every moment, every detail, and as many people as possible. We relish the balance between taking artistic shots—playing with light and shadow—and creating images wh ere the events themselves are so powerful that they speak for themselves. We are passionate about documentary-style photos filled with emotion and strength, as well as more fashion-oriented images that exude elegance.
