We discovered Henry + Mac at the Lovesick Expo in Brooklyn and immediately put their business card in a safe place. When we got home, we visited their website and our decision was made - we seriously never considered another photographer. And they ended up being the easier vendor we had to deal with. After talking to a bunch of recently married friends, I can rest assured that we got amazing bang for our buck. Dana (the principal photographer) is one of the sweetest people I've encountered and was such a trooper on our wedding day. It was a torrential downpour but that didn't stop her from taking amazing outdoor portraits. She even ended up breaking a lens but she still didn't miss a shot. She made a slideshow preview for us set to music and everyone who watched it, cried. We'll be getting our full image gallery sometime next week but we couldn't be happier with the pictures we've seen so far, nor could our families or friends. I really can't rave about this vendor enough and the proof is in the pudding, i.e., the photos. She did a walk-through of our venue a few days before the wedding and had no problem running around with me the day of - from the salon to the makeup place to the venue. Nothing but smiles and clicks!
Henry and Mac are amazing! My husband and I met Dana and Zak the photographers over breakfast when we were looking for photographers. We met people who took amazing photos but also people we would want to spend our wedding day with. They are such fun people! Our practice or Do you session went fantastic. I love our photos! I highly recommend Henry and Mac!
There aren't the right words in the English dictionary to accurately convey how thrilled I am that we chose Henry & Mac to shoot our wedding weekend. The word talented doesn't do justice in terms of the finished product we recently received a preview of. Beyond being able to shoot and capture the beautiful, intimate emotion during our big day- this is a team we wanted to hang out with ALL day long. Can't recommend Henry & Mac enough.
Dana and Megan from Henry + Mac literally blew us away with their absolutely incredible photography from our wedding. The final output of their work is stunningly beautiful, but they were also so lovely to work with. It's a little uncomfortable to have someone documenting you all day, but Dana and Megan were so fun and sweet and professional. And WOW their photos are just drop dead beautiful. Probably the best decision I made, besides saying yes to my now husband when he proposed, was hiring Henry + Mac.
All we have to say is WOW. We are speechless and blown away by how amazing the pictures came out. We are beyond happy that we chose Henry and Mac as our photographer for our wedding this past August!! Dana and Megan are amazing and i cannot thank them both enough for making our day truly special! I'm all out of tears because that's how much i cried looking back at our wedding photos!! They even put together a special slideshow of our wedding day in addition to all the photos from our wedding and it is so so special to us- it truly feels like we can now relive our day over and over again. If its any indication of how obsessed i am I now know every word to the soundtrack because thats how many times i've watched it! Going into our wedding we both knew that picking the photographer was going to be one of the most important decisions during the planning process because we knew it was a way to go back and remind us of the happiest day of our lives. We wanted someone who was not only a good photographer but who was able to capture the emotions of the day and bring the memories back to life just by looking at them. This is what you Dana and Megan have done for us and not only this but so so much more than we could have ever hoped for. I can actually look at each photograph and feel just how much love filled the room. We are forever grateful. You're both truly gifted! I could write an entire book about how great Henry & Mac is. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera, but they made it feel so easy and natural. They are so much fun to work with. We just got our sneak peak pictures back and they are utter perfection - we cannot wait to get the ret back! Cannot recommend them enough.
Henry and Mac was a no-brainer for our wedding. Dana is incredibly sweet and genuine, and just so easy to work with. Both my husband and I are a bit camera shy, and she made the process feel so natural. Our family and friends all were so complimentary on her process and how at ease they felt with her too. Beyond that, the photos are truly art. The emotions and vision of the day are so beautifully captured by Dana and the Henry and Mac team, the result was beyond my expectations.
