I am a hybrid wedding and portrait photographer. I truly believe that images come out of film cameras are timeless and the look just cannot be replicated from digital cameras. I often use film camera for slow-paced portrait sessions, and digital camera when speed is needed or lighting condition is not ideal for film.

Everything inside a frame contributes to the beauty and story of a photograph. I consider a photographer also an orchestrator who coordinates and collaborates with other vendors to ensure consistency and cohesion in the final product. Every small detail needs to work well together-- from makeup to the shutter click. There are moments when natural interactions should be captured quickly and quietly, and there are also times when poses should be planned and directed elegantly. Finding a good balance in the middle of this spectrum is key to creating beautiful photos.
