We had the pleasure of working with Shan and Simon from Thunder and Love for our wedding photos at Bosjes, and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the results.
From the moment we met them, Shan and Simon made us feel incredibly special. They have an amazing talent for not just capturing beautiful moments but also for making you feel beautiful in those moments. It's a rare gift, and they have it in abundance.
Despite the chilly weather, our photo session was an absolute joy. Shan and Simon's warmth and professionalism put us at ease, making us forget about the cold entirely. They made the entire process so enjoyable, and their passion for their craft truly shines through in every shot they took.

Where do I even begin? Shan and Simon made our day so extra special - we received some previews less than 24 hours after our wedding and they have blown us away already! We cannot wait for all the photos to be ready!

My husband and I were lucky enough to share our wedding journey with Simon & Shan (Thunder & Love) on 11 November 2023 last year. Their professionalism and experience shone through from the very first moment, but as the day rolled on we realized how incredibly fun, open-minded, and spontaneous they are! They made the experience of being photographed for an entire day feel comfortable and candid: no small feat for a camera-shy bride. These two love life and absolutely adore their chosen career path, and their passion shows in their work. Think classical film meets editorial suave. We're over-the-moon for the 1000+ beautiful images we received speedily after our ceremony date, and cannot recommend T&L highly enough. If you're looking for an absolute power couple that'll bring laughs, creativity, and spice into your wedding photography, look no further!
