Choosing to work with Emett during the wedding planning phase of life was easily the best decision we made!

After searching for what felt like forever for a photographer whose style and personality vibe resonated with us, I found Emett’s website and knew I had found the perfect fit. Our call with Emett only solidified that feeling.

After changing locations last minute due to wildfires, Emett came through with a great spot to shoot our engagement session. Any nerves about being in front of the camera disappeared within seconds as Emett’s vibe is so chill & relaxed you can’t help but feel the same way around him too.

During the planning process, Emett’s wedding day guide was crucial as I was DYIing my way through planning a wedding for the first time. Emett was responsive, helpful, and had great insight any time we had a question.

When our wedding day arrived, it felt so nice knowing Emett was in our corner and had our backs, making sure the shot list happened as well as capturing the more candid, goofy moments of the day. I love being able to look at our gallery and be transported back to our wedding day because Emett’s photos so eloquently capture all the joy, celebration, love and silliness.

One of my favorite decisions we made was booking an extra adventure session with Emett after the wedding. Our wedding was up in the alpine forests and being able to come full circle with that PNW feel, we got to pick a location on the water which was awesome. Additionally, our small wedding goal was to spend as much time with our people day of and we wanted to forgo the first look photo session to wait until walking down the aisle. This adventure session allowed us to still get plenty of couples photos while not sacrificing anything on our wedding day.

We wanted our day to feel like an adventure elopement but with our most special people with us. Having a photographer that does both was so crucial and I’ll never get over Emett’s range of photos from stylistically posed, candid & goofy, artsy to playfully edited. Thank you Emett for everything, we are so grateful to you!

Every single interaction, from first inquiry, to delivery of the final gallery, was just so authentic, professional and fun. Emett has the most welcoming and comforting personality, making him an absolute joy to work with. Emett truly understands how to capture more than just a picture, his photos are a looking glass into the emotions and every essence of the moment captured. You can find any photographer to ask you to stand just so and smile big and get a good picture, but if you want photos that tell your story, capture your love, and your individuality, do so with the greatest hype man you'll ever find, and hire Emett. Looking back at our wedding the easiest and best decision we made was hiring Emett. We never worried about a single thing working with him, he supported everything we wanted and helped make our dreams come to life. His attention to detail and eye for the perfect moment is incomparable. His editing style is timeless, yet modern, and every single person you meet will tell you you have the absolute best wedding photos they have ever seen. And trust me, that will be true, because it is impossible to find anyone else as talented as Emett. I could gush over him and his photography for decades! I can’t begin to say how great the experience was with Emett, he makes you feel very uncomfortable and at ease, coming from someone who doesn’t love having their picture taken! Having that level of trust just makes the end results that much better, we couldn’t be happier with how our engagement shoot and wedding photos turned out, the whole day was captured and me and my wife feel like we can relive the day every time we look back at our gallery.

Emett was the best! From getting to know us, to arranging our engagement photo shoot, to the day-of craziness, he was an amazing photographer and captured our love perfectly. After filling out a thoughtful and detailed questionnaire, we virtually met with Emett and talked about our vision for the big day. He was thoughtful in his approach and genuinely kind.

We went near Snoqualmie Pass for our engagement photos. He picked an amazing spot and we went right at prime 'golden hours' time. The photos were incredible and we immediately added them to our website gallery.

On our wedding day, Emett captured our love for the PNW (mountains/ocean) and the joy of the day. He expertly composed photos that were candid and staged. Most importantly, he ensured the 'shot list' we agreed to beforehand, happened. We were astounded when he sent us our 'sneak peak.' The photos were impeccable. We were (and still are) so happy!

Emett is an absolute gem! We worked with Emett for our recent PNW adventure elopement and he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed we could barely tell we were being photographed. It felt like we had an old friend with us all day which was really important because it was only us, our planner, officiant and Emett. He captured beautiful memories for us while allowing us to feel in the moment the entire time. We did a sunrise hike the day before our elopement which was such a fun adventure and a good way to get to know him before the big day. He is an incredibly talented photographer but also a wonderful person and great hang- could not recommend more!

Emett photographed our wedding in July. From our first contact everything was easy. He kept to his commitments and his flexibility and professionalism are top notch. But the photos! We were almost immediately provided with a “sneak peek,” and our minds were blown. Emett’s artistic ability is beyond anything we imagined or expected. He captured everything, yet nobody can remember seeing him floating among our guests. Our wedding party was pretty large and it would have been easy to have our photo session go off the rails. Emett kept us all in line with grace and kindness, and his skillful eye brought out the beauty in everyone there. Would absolutely work with him again.

When we set out on our wedding planning journey, Emett was the FIRST person my husband and I reached out to. We didn't even know yet if we wanted a small elopement or a more "traditional" wedding day, but we knew we wanted him there with us to capture it.

It's been five months since our wedding and we still frequently look at our photos - they exceeded our expectations and having them means more to us than I can express. I've even had our digital wedding album pulled up as a tab on my phone browser since November so I can easily revisit the memories he so lovingly helped us create.
