Phy really brought the ENERGY. Her team captured all the movement, smells, emotion, song and words exchanged -- this means the laughs, the small head turns and nods, the ashe's, the bursts of enthusiasm, the breaking the glass. For getting ready details and our first look, the creative direction was unmatched, specific, and really visionary, providing the foundation for the most perfect day. Phy's style is fresh and came with a beautiful combination of posed/directed shots as well as candid shots letting our love and confidence take the lead. The connectedness, love, intimacy, and joy is felt in all the resulting shots, not just between the two of us, but also all the excitement, joy, and emotion of our community. For us this day was really about centering Black queer love and Phy's videography and photography team was crucial for making sure our very intentional Black queer celebration can be in our memory forever. Another impeccable skill was the way Phy worked with us to feel prepared. Her method involves getting to know each other through an engagement shoot, planning out when the cant-miss groups of people we love and who love us, who have shown up for us will be captured in a way that didn't take us way from the party for too long. Phylicia's passion and creativity for this art form is truly unparallel to any. We were so lucky to have Phylicia for both our engagement and wedding photography and videography. Not only is she easy to work with and professional, but she really does capture the moment so effortlessly. Every time we look back at our photos/video, we are immediately reminded of all the love/joy/excitement we felt during that day, thanks to how she was able to find and document the little moments. Both Phylicia and her husband are so awesome to work with, and we loved that her style was both unique and timeless at the same time. Thank you again for everything!
Phylicia is literally the all time greatest. Let me start off that I am a high anxiety bride. Before our engagement shoot, I sent her pictures of me in a couple different dresses, and she steered me in the right directions which would esthetically be the best, and let me tell you these photos came out fire. My fiancé and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera, she directed us, posed us, and gave us tips to be fluid, natural and let the magic happen. Our photos came out better than I could ever imagine. Book her for any event and you will not be disappointed. Also her husband is so amazing. It's just a whole vibe.

Let me tell y'all about Ms. Phy! She absolutely blew our anniversary pictures out of the ballpark. These pictures are so freaking amazing that they put our engagement ones to shame. Not only did Phy bring this little vision I had in mind, but she also perfected it! Her assistant whose name I can't remember was also sweet and helped with any "ashiness" I may have had. LOL! Anyone who is looking for out-of-the-box pictures (not that cookie-cutter mess) that capture every moment, you are looking at the right person. Thank you, Phy! If there any any couples in the area or traveling to the area I would HIGHLY recommend Phylicia to capture your special moment! I've taken professional pictures before and she is by far the easiest person we've worked with. Not only is she kind, but she is funny which definitely helps take away those wedding day nerves! We definitely plan on working with Phylicia in the future again as her work is beyond beautiful and her talent is truly expressed through her work!
Phylicia is an amazing person. She is more than a photographer. She has helped me plan my wedding and was always willing to help. Her photography talent is exceptional. I love her artistic eyes and the photos she took of my wedding. She can work with any setting and can capture moments that you would later look back and say, "Wow!"
