Founded in 2013 by Alessandra Marchetti, CheChic!Weddings was born from a rare combination of creativity, organization, and vision. What began as a one-woman project has grown into a refined luxury destination wedding company, now led by a close-knit team of five women and their assistants, working with couples from all over the world.

Alessandra’s professional journey started long before her first wedding. After graduating in Public Relations and Communication in 2006, she completed a Master’s in Business Planning and earned a second degree in Graphic Design. Those foundations led her into six years of work across Real Estate and the Events industry — experiences that would later shape her distinct approach to wedding planning.
In 2013, she decided to invest in herself and create CheChic!Weddings.
“CheChic! was born from my passion for design, organization, and the art of celebration,” she shares.
Her eye for detail, love for styling, and strong managerial spirit quickly transformed the brand into a professional luxury destination wedding company, focused on deeply personalized experiences rather than formulas.
Alessandra has been a wedding planner since 2013, and her growth has been intentional. What sets her apart is the way creativity is always supported by structure.
“What I love most about wedding planning is the creative side: production, design, and styling,” she says. “When I walk into a space, I can immediately visualize how it can be transformed.”
While drawing may not be her strength, Alessandra works closely with her team to translate ideas into tangible designs. She thrives on creating brand-new, never-seen concepts — always paired with strong organization, careful coordination, and aligned creative partners.
“Creativity only works when it’s supported by careful planning and coordination.”
On the wedding day, together with her art director, she is present throughout the entire setup, watching ideas evolve from concept to reality — the part of her work she finds most fulfilling.

“Every project we undertake is entirely bespoke, designed from a blank page and shaped around the couple’s identity, values, and vision,” Alessandra explains. “We don’t follow formulas, and we never copy and paste.”

While the team primarily works with full-planning clients, partial planning is offered in selected cases — always with the same bespoke approach.

“I strongly believe that memories are created by people,” she says.

“What made them unforgettable went beyond planning: it was their kindness, their smiles, and the genuine words they shared every time we met.”

Every collaboration begins with listening.
“Understanding who the couple is, how they live, and what they value allows me to translate their vision into a celebration that feels authentic and intentional.”
From there, Alessandra guides her couples with expertise, transparency, and a strong sense of structure — combining creative direction with strategic planning and meticulous organization. Her approach is collaborative, yet decisive, always focused on elevating ideas while ensuring a seamless result.
CheChic!Weddings works across some of Italy’s most iconic regions, including Tuscany, Lake Como, Lake Garda, Puglia, the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Umbria, and Rome. Each destination offers a different rhythm, aesthetic, and creative challenge — something Alessandra embraces fully.
While logistics and planning can usually be solved with experience, Alessandra believes the biggest challenge is attitude.
The biggest challenge I’ve faced in weddings is working with rude people.
Whether it’s an unaligned vendor or a difficult third party, her team remains focused on professionalism and delivering the best possible experience. Another challenge comes from working with less experienced vendors chosen for budget reasons — situations that require careful guidance, preparation, and intervention to protect the couple’s vision.
Helping couples stay on budget starts with realism.
“I am always transparent about what can realistically be achieved within their budget,” Alessandra explains.
Throughout the planning process, budgets are carefully monitored and updated, allowing couples to feel informed, confident, and in control — while still being presented with thoughtful options that support their vision.
Alessandra’s advice is simple but powerful: find the right planner first.
“Before diving into venue research, which can quickly become overwhelming, the first step is to find the right planner.”
She emphasizes honesty about budget and encourages couples to trust both the process and their instincts.
“If you feel you’ve found the right person, allow them to do their job. Communicate openly and collaborate.”
If Alessandra could speak to herself at the beginning of her career, she would encourage patience.
“Slow down and allow the time to grow. You’re going to make mistakes, and that’s not only okay, it’s necessary.”
She would remind herself not to copy and paste, to find her own voice, and to surround herself with talented, kind people who truly believe in what they do.
There will be moments when you doubt yourself. Keep going anyway.
