Before Unique Dream Wedding became a brand synonymous with elegance and precision, Daniela Baptista had already been immersed in the wedding industry. “I started in the wedding business in 2015, and by 2017, I officially launched Unique Dream Wedding,” she shares. Her passion for planning and design, combined with a deep desire to create something extraordinary, led her to establish a brand focused solely on full-service wedding planning. “For Unique Dream Wedding, weddings are more than just a day—they are an experience, a reflection of a couple’s love and journey together.
Unlike many wedding planners, Unique Dream Wedding does not offer pre-designed packages. “At this moment, we only offer full planning, meaning we take care of every aspect of the wedding—from planning and development to design and execution, all the way through to the big day.” This all-encompassing approach ensures that every wedding remains authentic, intentional, and curated with the couple’s unique vision in mind. “We don’t have packages or accept anything that hasn’t been thoughtfully designed or structured by us, as it wouldn’t feel right or certain.”
The wedding planning process at Unique Dream Wedding is structured yet flexible, ensuring that every couple feels guided and supported at every stage. “We divide the planning process into a few key stages.”
Initial Phase: The journey begins with an in-depth consultation, allowing Daniela and her team to understand the couple’s vision before presenting any proposals. “After that, we send them a cost estimate to help them get an idea of whether the budget is feasible, along with suggestions for venues that match the type of event we are envisioning together.”
Contract Finalization: Once the couple has selected a venue, Unique Dream Wedding finalizes all contracts, ensuring that every detail is legally sound. “We provide an extensive list of highly reputable, recommended vendors. We also assist and streamline the negotiation process to ensure everything is in place.”
Styling & Design: Every wedding is a work of art, and Daniela ensures that the design process is immersive and collaborative. “We create the wedding mood board and guide the couple through the entire design process, including invitations, websites, save-the-dates, and more.”
Logistics & Coordination: From crafting a detailed timeline to managing transportation and accommodations, no detail is left unattended. “One month before the wedding, we send the final wedding document to all suppliers, the venue, and the couple, containing every piece of information needed to make the big day happen smoothly—as they say, ‘for tomorrow.’”
While Daniela and her team currently plan weddings across the country, she has her sights set on international weddings. “We love working across the country, from north to south, and we have the dream of expanding our range of venues. Soon, we hope to start working internationally as well.”
Contracts can often be a daunting part of wedding planning, but Daniela has one crucial piece of advice: “Always choose the service of wedding planning first—before signing any venue/vendor contracts, as we’ll be able to review the contracts and ensure everything is correct, legal, and, most importantly, that the couple is fully protected with everything they deserve, in the best possible way.”
Handling unpredictable weather is another challenge couples often worry about, but Daniela reassures her clients with a well-thought-out backup plan. “Trust the process. In our brand, whenever we visit a venue, we always discuss backup plans and present alternatives. You never know what tomorrow holds, and as planners, we know that the weather is something we simply can’t control.” Whether it’s securing an indoor venue or setting up a tent, Daniela ensures that every scenario is considered, keeping expectations in check while allowing the couple to enjoy their big day stress-free.
When it comes to budgeting, Daniela and her team take a transparent approach. “We always present a budget that closely reflects reality, including everything we believe is essential for a wedding with exceptional quality across all the suggested services.”
And as for the perfect wedding timeline? “Focus on the key moments: Know what the couple’s priorities are—whether it’s the ceremony, first dance, speeches, or something else—and make sure the timeline reflects that.” She also advises couples to build in buffer time and be realistic about how much can be done in a given timeframe. “Don’t try to squeeze too much into a short amount of time. It’s better to give everyone enough space to enjoy each part of the day without feeling rushed.”
While Unique Dream Wedding continues to thrive, Daniela has also ventured into personal branding. “Right now, I have launched my personal brand where I offer a variety of digital products, coaching, and soon, an in-person course as well. However, in my brand, we focus exclusively on wedding planning and design services.”
