When asked about the most fulfilling aspect of her work, Iokasti lights up. “The best part of wedding planning for me is when clients see the first designs—when we present the full concept and proposal.”
While every stage of the process is deeply creative, that initial moment of revelation is particularly special. “As we refine the details and move toward production, seeing the excitement grow makes my heart full!”

Despite the difficulties, she and her team adapted, reimagining designs, guest flow, and logistics while ensuring that every couple still had a magical and stress-free celebration. “It was a test of resilience, creativity, and problem-solving—but it also strengthened our expertise in handling unexpected challenges with grace.”
A stunning wedding doesn’t have to break the bank, and MAZI Event has mastered the art of maximizing budgets without sacrificing style. “Design is our most powerful tool,” explains Iokasti. “Since we design, we have autonomy in the production. As we have this flexibility, we are able to redesign and achieve the desired result.”
Her advice to couples? “Prioritize your own needs and wishes. Avoid being influenced by pictures on Pinterest and Instagram, and stop comparing your plans to those of others.”
When asked for her best advice for couples currently planning their wedding, Iokasti keeps it simple. “Trust your planner and enjoy the process. Prioritize everything before you make big decisions, and again, trust your planner!”
Reflecting on her journey, Iokasti shares a message for those just starting their careers. “Keep going with faith, even on the grey days. Do not be afraid to make mistakes! Dive in and make it more fun.”
With a passion for creating extraordinary spaces, it’s no surprise that Iokasti has a dream venue of her own. “My dream wedding venue is the one we designed with much love and inspiration a few years ago named ‘All the World’s a Stage.’”
