In an industry often driven by spectacle, timelines, and trends, some planners choose a different path — one guided by listening, restraint, and emotional intelligence. Le Rêve is one of those rare studios where weddings are approached not as productions, but as carefully composed narratives.
Founded in Rome in 2010 by Elisa Orsetti, Le Rêve has spent more than sixteen years creating weddings that feel deeply personal, balanced, and emotionally grounded. Elisa’s work is defined not by repetition or signature aesthetics, but by her ability to translate each couple’s story into a cohesive experience — one shaped through space, light, texture, and atmosphere.
“My journey into wedding planning grew naturally,” Elisa says. “From a strong sensitivity to aesthetics, organization, and human connection.”
From the very beginning, she was drawn to the idea of transformation — not just designing beautiful settings, but shaping experiences that could be felt. “A wedding, for me, is a carefully composed narrative,” she explains. “Every detail has a purpose. Every element contributes to harmony.”
The first weddings she planned became formative lessons. They taught her the importance of listening — deeply and without assumptions — and of understanding not only what couples wanted to see, but what they wanted to feel. “Those early projects confirmed that this was not simply a profession,” she reflects, “but a vocation that blends creativity with responsibility, intuition with precision.”
With 16 years of experience, Elisa has come to value one aspect of her work above all else: the relationship with each couple.
“What I love most is being invited into such an intimate moment of their lives,” she says. “Listening to their story, understanding their emotions, and translating their values into something meaningful.”
Through this closeness, she has also discovered new cultures and traditions — an ongoing source of inspiration. “The trust that grows throughout the process is what gives true purpose to what I do,” Elisa shares. “Being a steady, reassuring presence for my couples is the most rewarding part of my profession.”
If Le Rêve has a guiding principle, it is simple and demanding at the same time: listen first.
She continues to approach each project with curiosity and openness, learning constantly — first from mentors, now from her couples. “They represent a new generation, with fresh values and new ways of expressing love,” she notes. “They inspire me and enrich my work in unexpected ways.”
Elisa doesn’t define herself by a preferred style or scale of celebration. “Every wedding is beautiful in its own way,” she says. “What matters is the meaning behind it — not its size, location, or aesthetic.”
Le Rêve provides comprehensive, full-scope wedding planning, intentionally choosing not to offer partial or day-of coordination.
“Organizing a wedding demands a profound connection with the couple,” Elisa explains. “It requires deep knowledge of every vendor and attention to every detail, no matter how small.”
Her services cover every stage of the process — from venue selection and design to logistics and guest experience, a detail she holds especially close. “A wedding is also a performance for the guests,” she says. “Their experience matters deeply.”
Each wedding is structured around trust, continuity, and presence — values that simply cannot be compressed into limited involvement.
Asked about the most memorable wedding she has planned, Elisa chooses not to single one out. “Every wedding is unique,” she says simply. “And every wedding has left me with memories.”
This perspective reflects her approach as a whole: no hierarchy of projects, no favorites — only respect for each story entrusted to her.
Elisa believes that the strongest results come from honesty and transparency.
“Not everything is possible,” she says. “Sometimes compromise is necessary — for technical reasons, budget, or respect for the locations where we work.”
Her role is never to impose taste, but to guide. “The wedding belongs to the couple,” she emphasizes. “My responsibility is to advise, suggest, and protect their vision — not replace it with my own.”
While Le Rêve works across Italy, one venue holds a special place in Elisa’s professional journey: Villa Aurelia.
Its historic presence, elevated setting, and timeless elegance align naturally with her approach — refined, balanced, and emotionally resonant.
The biggest challenge Elisa has ever faced wasn’t logistical.
“It was the wedding of my best friend,” she says.
The experience reinforced something she already knew: emotional balance is as essential as planning expertise.
Helping couples stay on budget begins with clarity. “Defining a reference budget from the very beginning is essential,” Elisa explains. “Without that, expectations and reality can easily drift apart.”
From there, she guides couples toward conscious, well-balanced decisions and clear priorities. “Experience comes with strategies,” she adds with a smile, “but some tricks are best kept behind the scenes.”
Her advice to couples planning their wedding is refreshingly simple:
“Enjoy the process.”
If Elisa could speak to herself at the very beginning, she would offer reassurance.
“Sixteen years from now, you will see how much you have built,” she says. “But it will require resilience, commitment, and the ability not to be overwhelmed.”
She speaks candidly about risk, curiosity, and preparation. “Taking a leap into the unknown is pure adrenaline,” she reflects. “But professionalism is what allows success to last.”
For many years, Elisa’s dream venue was Villa Cetinale — a dream that is finally becoming reality this year.
“I’m fully enjoying the journey,” she says. “And once this dream is realized, I know another will follow. Dreaming is always part of my creative process.”
When it comes to recommending vendors, Elisa chooses inclusivity over lists.
“There are so many talented professionals in my area,” she says.
Those who appear most often alongside her, she notes, are more than collaborators. “They are like family — people with whom I share trust, values, and a deep connection.”
