"I love to show my clients special moments beyond their imagination—moments they never expected. Many of my couples have affectionately called me their ninja photographer for my ability to capture their special day discreetly and beautifully while moving from place to place," Victoria explains with a hint of pride in her voice.

Victoria's background in commercial art, computer graphics, and photography has given her a distinctive edge. She wields her Canon cameras like extensions of her own creative vision. "I LOVE my Canon cameras," Victoria enthuses. "I have an arsenal of lenses that I love to shoot with and never leave behind. I have the Canon 5D Mark IV and the R5 Mirrorless. My go-to lenses are 16-35, 70-200, 85, 135, 50."

She adds, “ I also rely on natural light enhanced with my Profoto lights to always produce some magic. Together with some cool filters and crystal props to enhance that magic.” But it's not just about the equipment. Victoria's approach is a unique blend of artistic flair and journalistic instinct, enhanced by her technical prowess.

Diving Deep: Underwater Wedding Photography

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of Victoria's work is her specialty in underwater photography. It's as if she's determined to prove that love isn't just in the air, but also beneath the waves. "My forte is creating a studio setting underwater and capturing serene moments that one would never imagine could be achieved beneath the surface," Victoria shares. "Living in the sunny warm weather of Miami how can you not offer this."

"I want my photos to make you laugh, make you cry, and have you hold your breath," Victoria declares passionately. "I love to capture these special moments in a creative and artistic way that will last forever. Behind every outstanding photograph is an experience that invites us to feel the story. The best part is as I am working your wedding I am visualizing, tweaking, and developing these images in my head as if they were part of a blank canvas and I won't stop till I am done with the final results."

The Creative Process

Victoria's approach to post-processing is as meticulous as her shooting style. She breaks it down into four phases: "Editing involves four phases," she explains. "Shooting: The creative process of capturing the original images. Selecting: Narrowing down the large collection of images to select the best ones. Color & Exposure Correction: Adjusting the images for optimal exposure and color. Fine Art Design: Taking the selected images through an extensive touch-up process while maintaining their authenticity."

Unlike some photographers who pack their schedules to the brim, Victoria takes a more measured approach. "I limit the number of weddings to about 20 to 25 per year," she reveals. "This approach allows me to fully immerse myself in each wedding experience, ensuring ample time for editing and creating beautiful wedding album designs."

For Victoria, the world is her studio. She's always ready to pack her bags and capture love stories in exotic locations. "I am constantly inspired by new places," she says enthusiastically. "My favorite destination is any destination with a European flair. But Spain, Italy, and Greece are my fav."

When asked about tips for couples preparing for their big day, Victoria's advice is refreshingly simple: "I always tell all my clients to HAVE FUN! Enjoy the moment! Live the moment! and allow me to do the rest."
