Growing up surrounded by the vibrant world of art, Nadia Vaisse Photography always felt a deep connection to creative expression. "I always loved art and creativity," she recounts. "Photography quickly became a passion of mine because it allowed me to capture real emotions."

Photography was a passion that ignited within Vaisse when she stumbled upon the timeless, film-based work of renowned photographer Jose Villa. "I instantly fell in love," Vaisse reminisces. "This moment inspired me to become a photographer, dedicated to capturing life's most beautiful moments with timeless style and emotion."

A Unique Interdisciplinary Approach

Vaisse's path to becoming a renowned wedding photographer was paved by her diverse educational background. "I have a university degree in foreign languages, literature, and psychology and an education in Fine Arts & Photography," she explains. This interdisciplinary approach has truly shaped the way she approaches her craft.

This unique blend of disciplines has equipped Vaisse with a keen understanding of human behavior and emotional nuance, which she seamlessly translates into her photographic work. "My photography style is all about lightness, elegance, airiness, and pure colors—elements that make your wedding photos truly timeless," she says.

Vaisse's dedication to her craft extends beyond the digital realm, as she has embraced the beauty and richness of film photography. "For those who appreciate truly artisanal art, I shoot on film, using medium format. It's pure magic," she says, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. The depth and texture that film brings to the image, it's simply unparalleled. It adds an extra layer of timelessness and artistry that digital can't quite capture.

Cultivating a Discerning Client Base

Vaisse's commitment to excellence is evident in the way she curates her client list. "I take on only 5-7 weddings a year," she states firmly. "I'm not chasing quantity. A wedding lasts just 2-3 days, but I prefer to spend more time selecting and editing the photos so that my clients receive perfect images." This selective approach has allowed Vaisse to build a loyal following of discerning, educated clients who share her vision for timeless, emotive imagery.

Vaisse also emphasizes the importance of personal connection and collaboration with her clients. "Personal "warm" contact and feeling are the most important!" she advises. "Be sure to meet or organize a video conference with the photographer! Always talk about what kind of photos you are waiting for, show the photographer ideas, examples. Do not hesitate to say if you are uncomfortable during the photoshoot. This should be a joint creativity."

Vaisse's expertise also extends to destination weddings, which she considers a specialty. "My favorite places are Paris, French Riviera and Italy," she affirms.

A Collaborative Approach to Capturing Life's Cherished Moments

At the heart of Vaisse's work is a deep appreciation for the significance of the moments she is entrusted to capture. "I love people and emotions," she says, her voice brimming with passion. " I love joy and candid moments, I adore details and decor. My favorite moments are the excitement of getting ready and the genuine emotions of the first look."

By fostering a personal connection with her clients, Vaisse ensures that the creative process is a true collaboration. "I don't compete with anyone," she explains. "My clients always find me themselves, and it's their choice! My clients are discerning, smart, and educated. They know what they want, but they also trust me and my vision. We trust each other."

This collaborative approach extends to the planning and execution of each shoot, as Vaisse takes the time to understand her clients' desires and tailor her services accordingly. "We discuss everything in detail, and I adapt my offer to suit their needs," she says.
