Jané Ulla's journey into the world of photography is rooted in their formal education in Graphic Design. “As a Graphic Design graduate with formal qualifications, owning a camera was an essential part of our coursework. It was during this time that my passion for art blossomed behind the lens, providing me with the chance to engage more directly with people and their stories,” Jané reminisces about the early days. This initial spark would eventually guide them towards a path filled with love stories and unforgettable moments.
With 10 years of experience, Jané has dedicated a significant part of their life to photography. This journey has been more than just a profession—it's a calling. It's been a decade of learning, growing, and falling ever more in love with this art form, reflecting on the years spent behind the camera.

When asked to describe their photography style, Jané paints a picture of elegance and authenticity. “I combine artistic storytelling with editorial elegance. From the elegantly arranged centerpieces to the subtle tear in your father's eye during your vows, no element goes unnoticed,” Jané explains. In terms of equipment, Jané favors Mirrorless Canon Cameras with prime lenses, ensuring each image is captured with clarity and precision. But the magic doesn't stop at the click of a button. “My post-processing approach is focused on enhancing the natural beauty of the captured moments. The goal is to deliver timeless and elegant images that reflect the genuine emotions of the wedding day,” Jané details their meticulous editing process.
For Jané, photography is more than just taking pictures. It's about capturing the essence of the moment. “As a wedding photographer, the most fulfilling aspect is capturing the genuine emotions and unique moments that unfold during a couple's special day. It's incredibly rewarding to provide couples with a visual narrative that they can cherish for a lifetime,” they express.
Working closely with clients is paramount to achieving the desired outcome. Jané emphasizes the importance of open communication and collaboration. “I prioritize open communication and collaboration with clients. I begin by understanding their vision, preferences, and expectations. Through pre-event consultations, I discuss specific shot lists, preferred styles, and any unique elements they want to incorporate. On the wedding day, I blend into the background to capture candid moments while also providing gentle direction for posed shots. Flexibility is key, ensuring I adapt to the couple's dynamic and unexpected moments. The goal is to deliver a personalized and memorable collection of images that reflects their love story,” Jané outlines their client-centered approach.
Every couple is unique, and so should their wedding photography package. “Yes most definitely,” Jané affirms when asked about creating custom packages tailored to each couple's specific needs.
Jané offers a piece of wisdom for couples preparing for their photo shoot or event: “Enjoy the Experience. Embrace the moment and have fun during the shoot. Genuine emotions often translate into beautiful photographs.”
While Jané has yet to shoot weddings internationally, they are open to the idea. “I haven't done international weddings but would love to. Europe / New York,” Jané shares, hinting at the potential for capturing love stories against the backdrop of the world's most romantic cities.
