When we asked Lauren how it all started, her answer was wrapped in purpose and passion.
“I graduated in 2013 with a degree in photojournalism,” she shares. “Since then, I’ve traveled the country capturing weddings that speak to my heart. Photography lets me witness stories unfold in real time — there’s nothing more rewarding.”
Her background in journalism is palpable in her work — each image layered with context, emotion, and movement. But over the years, Lauren’s style evolved into something even richer: a blend of candor and curated composition.
Lauren’s work is often described as candid, fun, romantic, and natural — and for good reason. Whether she’s shooting on digital with her Sony or on medium format film with her beloved Contax 645, her priority remains the same: authenticity.
“I edit to match my film scans as closely as possible!”

“If I could go back and give myself advice, it would be to trust the process,” she says. “So much of this work is about patience, consistency, and believing in your own creative voice.”
And for couples preparing for their big day?
“Try your best to relax. The more fun you have in front of the camera, the more you'll love your images! Also, be yourselves and true to your relationship!”
