Daniele and Svetlana, the creative duo behind Dstudio Weddings, solved that problem by simply being two people. Based in Northern Italy near Milan, they've spent over sixteen years photographing destination weddings across Italy's most iconic regions and beyond, blending editorial elegance with documentary-style storytelling for couples who fly in from all over the world.

Sixteen Years, Two Photographers, One Frame

"We are Daniele and Svetlana, the creative duo behind Dstudio Weddings," they explain. 

We are professional photographers specializing in high-end destination weddings in Italy. Our approach blends editorial elegance with authentic, documentary-style storytelling, capturing spontaneous emotions and timeless aesthetics for international couples.

That approach has had a long time to develop. "We have been working in the wedding industry for over 16 years," they note. "Over the years, we have had the privilege of capturing hundreds of love stories, continuously refining our artistic vision and approach to luxury events."

Across Italy, and Wherever the Wedding Leads

Italy alone gives Dstudio Weddings plenty of ground to cover. "While Lake Como and Tuscany are our main hubs, our work frequently takes us all across Italy - from the picturesque shores of Lake Garda and the Italian Riviera down to the vibrant landscapes of Naples and Sicily," they explain. 

That range doesn't stop at the border, either. "While Italy is our primary focus, where we regularly cover destinations from the Northern Lakes down to Naples and Sicily, we love traveling for destination weddings worldwide," they say. 

"We have already had the pleasure of photographing beautiful weddings across Europe, including Greece and France."

A Villa on Lake Como, They Can't Forget

Dstudio Weddings keeps its yearly count deliberately bounded. "To guarantee the highest level of personal dedication, artistic focus, and premium quality for every couple, we comfortably accept around 20 to 25 weddings per year," they explain.

Of all the locations included, one stands out clearly. "Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como is definitely one of the most unforgettable locations we've photographed," they recall. "The combination of historical architecture, dramatic terraced gardens, and surrounding waters creates a truly surreal backdrop."

Freezing What Isn't Staged

Ask Daniele and Svetlana what keeps them behind the camera after sixteen years, and the answer centers on what a photograph can hold onto that memory alone can't.

"What we love most is the ability to freeze genuine, unscripted emotions in time," they begin. "Being trusted to capture one of the most important days in a couple's life, and turning those ephemeral moments into lasting visual heirlooms, is deeply rewarding." 

The variety of who's in front of the camera matters just as much as the moment itself. "Every couple brings their own unique energy, culture, and personal connection. No two weddings are ever the same," they reflect. 

Watching families from different parts of the world celebrate together, surrounded by incredible landscapes and ever-changing light, keeps our creative passion continuously alive.

Asked which wedding has stayed with them most, Daniele and Svetlana resist narrowing it down to a single story.

"It's truly impossible to choose just one, as every destination has its own unique magic," they say. 

"We hold special memories from weddings in France for the timeless romance of its châteaux, in Greece for the breathtaking sea views, on Lake Como for its iconic elegance, in Tuscany for its world-famous hills, and in Naples and Sicily for their rich culture and vibrant energy. Every single wedding brings its own unique story, making it impossible to pick a single favorite!"
