“Started photography on the cruise ships. I came back and approached a well-known wedding photographer in 2007. He allowed me to become a creative high-end wedding photographer,” shares the soul behind Vividblue Studio. Transitioning from the majestic vistas of cruise ships to the sacred vows of marriage. In 2007, Andre van Niekerk found his calling under the mentorship of a renowned wedding photographer, embarking on a mission to immortalize the essence of love and celebration.

“Mixture of natural documentary style and stylish fashionable portraits. I always believe a bride wants a stunning photo of her that looks stylish, and modern (Vogue). The rest of the day the moment captures naturally,” the artist elaborates.  “Make sure about your style. Look for a photographer that known what they are doing when they shoot a wedding. Feel comfortable with the person you book. You are going to spend a full day with that person. Don't always go for the cheapest. Same as in any industry or product.”

“For me is all about capturing who the couple truly are. Their personality & love for each others. They need to feel comfortable and just enjoy their special day. I make them feel relax to know that they just need to enjoy their day. It is coordinator and my job to worry and direct the day.”

We have a basic package, and they can add extras to it, like albums, hours, second shooters, and engagement shoots,” the studio emphasizes.

It is difficult to just pick one. Bali, Zanzibar, New York & Venice are the favorites,” says Andre van Niekerk.
