Kailash Wedding Company
Bol Nguyen grew up in Da Nang and began his career in 2014 at a Japanese wedding photography studio. There, he learnt the fundamentals of the craft from his mentors before eventually finding his own voice at one of the city's best-known studios. Years later, he teamed up with his creative partner, Tinh Phan, to launch Kailash Wedding, and while destination work across Vietnam has become something of a signature for the studio, it's Iceland that continues to capture Bol's imagination with its otherworldly light.
In his own words, his style aims to be "honest, refined and full of depth," blending natural storytelling with an editorial approach designed to feel timeless rather than chasing trends. He holds his whole team to this ethos. "Never let a couple feel that they missed an important moment from their wedding day," he tells them, a line that shapes everything from their shooting style to how they deliver each gallery.
Huk Studio
Hung Nguyen, better known as Huk Studio, picked up a camera almost by accident because someone he loved enjoyed being photographed. This personal beginning eventually turned into a fifteen-year career photographing weddings, with a style that has evolved alongside his life. He says that marriage and fatherhood quietly shifted his focus towards a softer style, and many people have told him that his photographs have felt more romantic since he started his own family.
His process starts and ends with trust, built through conversation long before anyone picks up a camera on the big day itself. He is especially drawn to the small, unnoticed moments that couples never get to see themselves: "a quiet glance from their parents, tears held back during the vows, a hand squeeze under the table." Splitting his time between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, with the sunsets of Phu Quoc among his favourite backdrops, roughly half of his bookings now take him far beyond his usual area.

Thien Tong grew up moving between northern and southern Vietnam. This upbringing left him with an insatiable curiosity about people, how they connect and what they truly value. This curiosity led him to pursue a career in photography in 2016, with a dedicated focus on weddings by 2019, and destination work has since taken him well beyond Vietnam's borders, with the Amalfi Coast, the Dolomites and Kyoto among his favourite places to capture love stories.
"The photographs I value most are not necessarily the ones that show exactly what happened, but the ones that help people remember how it felt," he says. His work centres around capturing genuine moments rather than directing them, and this instinct informs every gallery he delivers, shot in warm tones and natural colours rather than heavy stylisation.
TRUNG VO studio
Trung Vo works in Saigon with a simple and disarming philosophy: in order to truly witness the love of others, you must first have experienced it yourself in all its forms, whether romantic or otherwise. This belief is evident in his approach, which he describes as capturing the moment naturally and emotionally, ideal for couples who would rather be present than perform for a lens. Trung is always chasing that second kind of image, whether the day unfolds in a garden in Dalat or somewhere entirely unplanned. His work features a strong focus on black and white, nature-inspired backdrops and a quiet, editorial elegance that never feels overdone.
Kien's Collection
Kien's Collection is based in Hanoi and Da Nang. Led by Kien and a small team that includes photographer Lylah and videographer Huy Tung, the company has spent over a decade developing an editorial style paired with genuine, documentary-style storytelling, taking the team well beyond Vietnam's borders on weddings in countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, China and Korea.
The team believes that choosing a photographer is akin to choosing a partner: someone who feels more like a friend than a vendor by the time the wedding day arrives. This philosophy is reflected in their hands-on, film-friendly approach (couples have even brought their own Super 8 cameras to shoot alongside the team), centred on fine art, documentary-style images that retain their emotional impact long after the last guest has left.
