Europe offers wedding photographers a wide range of opportunities and expects them to know how to make the most of them. The photographers worth hiring have captured Tuscan villas, the Aegean coast, Alpine chalets, and Parisian rooftops — and made every single one count. That’s exactly the kind of diversity Wezoree was looking for. We analyzed the market, reviewed the best work, and manually selected twenty photographers who consistently deliver high quality regardless of the location.

Danilo & Sharon
An editorial style with a touch of documentary — that’s an approach of Danilo & Sharon. Every project starts with a consultation: they meet the couple, try to understand their vision, and create a personalized mood board so everyone is on the same page before they even pick up a camera. Their clients often say the photos don't look like typical wedding shots, and as they put it, that's entirely by design.
"What we love most is the variety — meeting people from all walks of life, being invited into their most personal moments, and having the privilege to observe and document the world around us," say Danilo and Sharon. They are nearly 20 years into their career, which started in fashion and commercial photography, working with brands, editorial teams, and agencies.
Tipos Photo&Film
Laura and Manu are the husband-and-wife team behind the Tipos Photo & Film brand, specializing in wedding photography across the world, where different cultures come together. What began as a studio offering all types of photography has gradually evolved into what they truly love.
"We are two human beings photographing special moments in other people's lives," they say. For them, what matters most is what’s actually happening. Precise composition and lighting, along with a carefully considered editorial approach that never overshadows the moment itself. Fifteen years in photography, where cinema serves as a guide for editing, so that every image is as natural and timeless as possible. They genuinely love discovering new places. Living in Mallorca, which they call paradise, Italy attracts them in a way they can’t quite explain.
Franco Gribodo
"I ask you to trust me and for us to work as a team, but above all, to enjoy your day being yourselves and forgetting about the camera," says Franco Gribodo, and that pretty much sums up his approach. His style is timeless, editorial, and emotional.
Post-processing is kept to a minimum, just color correction, because he believes that natural colors are the best. Italy is his favorite travel destination. What makes his work so captivating? Travelling, meeting new people, and discovering new cultures.
Fotis Sid Photography
Fotis Sid Photography specializes in editorial, wedding, and romantic elopement photography around the world. Behind the camera is Fotis Sideris Tasiou, who is drawn to the spontaneity of photography and the emotions that come pouring out on the most important day of a couple’s life.
What he enjoys most is traveling the world and learning about different cultures — and Lake Como is his favorite place. With fifteen years of experience, he takes the time to get to know each couple before every wedding to understand their relationship and how they envision the final result.
Skigo Wedding Stories
Dimitris Skigkopoulos founded Skigo Wedding Stories on a simple belief: the most powerful stories are not staged — they happen in moments. Based in Greece and working internationally, the studio approaches wedding photography and cinematography as a form of storytelling.
This work can be described as refined, timeless, and authentic. The camera observes rather than directs: the look before the ceremony, the quiet tension as people hold hands, the friends' laughter. "Light is the only true destination," Dimitris says. "We remain students of the Aegean's raw glow and the earthy textures of Tuscany, but our favorite place remains the one I have yet to see." Next on the list — Thailand.
White on Black Studio
White on Black Studio is a team of 11 specialists in documentary wedding photography and videography. Based in Greece, they have been capturing love stories across Europe and beyond for 13 years. Focusing on emotions rather than poses, capturing not only how things looked but also how they felt, the team combines candid, natural moments with a sophisticated editorial eye.
"There's a power in being able to tell a visual story through photography — it is the authenticity — the authentic recording of an event," they say. Post-processing stays light: just a touch of cinematic color to capture the vibe. Their approach with couples is simple — relax and have fun, that's what matters. Destination work takes them across Europe regularly, with trips to the US and Asia as well. New York is their favorite.
Paco & Aga
Paco & Aga are a married couple who shoot together. Having gone through the wedding process themselves, they understand better than most what kind of energy a couple needs around them on that day. Their golden rule is simple: the couple's experience always comes first, never their own portfolio. Before the wedding, they make a point of connecting with couples to understand the timeline and make sure their approach is the right fit.
Candid moments, editorial portraits, and film photography are all part of how they work. Guidance is light enough that couples never feel put on the spot, and portrait sessions are kept efficient so nobody is pulled away from their guests for too long. The heart of their work is Spain — Mallorca, Barcelona, Ibiza, Menorca, and more — alongside regular work across Italy and France.
Robert Marcillas
Robert Marcillas and Arnau are two photographers, complementary in vision, who have been shooting together since 2015. Cinema, fashion, art, and analog photography feed into a style that's timeless, natural, and documentary. Based in Barcelona, their work takes them across Europe and beyond: Italy, France, Portugal, the UK, Sweden, Mexico, and New York.
Robert is deliberate about avoiding trends and typical approaches — the work is built around honest, unfolding moments rather than poses or expectations. On the day, they move calmly and discreetly within the celebration, feeling more like familiar faces than outside observers.
Joy Zamora
Joy Zamora started as a street photographer, quietly observing life from the sidelines, and developed a knack for capturing natural, unstaged moments long before he began photographing weddings. Ten years later, that instinct still defines his approach to his work.
He is an award-winning destination wedding photographer based in Spain. Joy shoots across Europe and worldwide. His style is editorial, documentary, and cinematic. His approach is based on intimacy—by understanding each couple’s fears and desires, he helps them feel so comfortable that they stop noticing the camera. As a bonus, his wife Opi is a wedding planner, someone he calls the most incredible wedding planner in the world, and they work together seamlessly.
DeRando wedding studio
Diego de Rando is a photographer and the founder of DeRando Studio, with over 15 years of experience. He works in a style he describes as dynamic editorial wedding photography with a distinct fashion focus. His goal is to create magazine-worthy images, photographs, that capture the full splendor of the day through striking lighting, contrast, and colors.
Light is something he's deeply passionate about. He works fluidly between black and white with strong contrasts and vibrant color depending on what the moment calls for. He sees himself as a storyteller, adapting to each couple, their style, and their location. Based in Spain but shooting worldwide, his destination work spans Paris, Amalfi, New York, Rome, Venice, Mallorca, and across the Mediterranean.
Dosmasenlamesa
Dosmasenlamesa is an international photography studio with over a decade of experience and deep roots in the European art world. The studio is headed by Andrea, Bernadirta, and David — a team consistently praised for their welcoming attitude, professionalism, and sophistication.
Clients often describe the final images as visual masterpieces with a magical, velvet touch. Their aesthetic straddles the line between documentary and fine art. They travel internationally for destination weddings, with Paris, Los Angeles, and San Sebastian among the celebrations in their portfolio
Thomas Audiffren
Thomas Audiffren is a French photographer who specializes in wedding photography at exotic locations around the world. He travels the globe following three principles: authenticity, fun, and elegance. His work is deeply inspired by cinema and fashion, and he collaborates with couples who seek beauty, love to have fun, and possess refined taste.
Beyond photography, his creative world is inspired by his enduring love for cinema, classic cars, travel, wildlife, and—true to his French roots—a glass of champagne, which he never turns down.
Cinzia Bruschini Studio
Cinzia Bruschini Studio is a destination wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Italy, recognized as one of the top wedding photographers in the world by major publications. Her approach blends aesthetic research with a strong sense of narration — honest and sentimental, with an eye for moments that are both deeply intimate and truly extraordinary.
Días de Vino y Rosas
The Días de Vino y Rosas project was launched nearly 15 years ago in northern Spain. It was founded by three female photographers — Cecilia, Nieves, and Aida. Each of them has its own unique creative background. In addition to wedding photography, they regularly work for magazines, brands, and at various events, and art, film, music, fashion, and design fill what they call their personal universe.
"We've spent more of our lives taking photos than not taking them. It's not just our job, it's the way we understand the world," they say. Their photographs are characterized by a natural, unforced quality and minimal posing — they are elegant, exuding that special charm that stems from their experience in the fashion industry, and are full of movement and what they themselves call beautiful chaos. The team pays immense attention to color, editing each image themselves as a true work of art and treating each one as an individual piece. Based in Spain, they actively shoot in Mallorca, Menorca, the Costa Brava, and Barcelona, and regularly visit Portugal, France, and Italy.
Vadim Pastuh
Vadim Pastuh and his wife Irina run their photography studio together from Lisbon, Portugal, specializing in luxury weddings across Europe and beyond. Since 2013, weddings have been their full-time creative focus. "Couples often tell us the final gallery feels less like wedding photos and more like a film they can step back into," Vadim says.
Their style is editorial, cinematic, and emotion-driven. They work on a timeless, neutral color palette built to age well. With its exceptionally soft light, unique historic palaces, and a culture that has its own soul and rhythm, Portugal holds a special place in their hearts. They love Italy for its aesthetic, where light, nature, architecture, and culture create the feeling that every frame is already part of a movie. Most of their work is shot in Portugal, Italy, France, and Spain, though they remain truly open to the world — their recent wedding in Vietnam is proof of that.
The Saums
Pia and Chris — the Saums — came to photography from psychology and graphic design. Two fields helped them develop their skills in understanding people and creating images. Their style is documentary photography with a soft touch, heavily influenced by their work in fashion: a refined, editorial narrative with a subtle romantic undertone and a calm, contemplative approach that prioritizes connection, atmosphere, and authentic moments. Some of their favorite destinations are Paris, the south of France, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
2026 will mark their tenth year in business, during which they have been working in the fields of weddings, fashion, and editorial projects, combining film and digital technology. No cookie-cutter approaches — every couple and every event, they believe, is unique and deserves to be treated as such. “A blend of work that is meaningful and, at the same time, allows us to be truly creative,” they say.
Julia Kaptelova
Julia Kaptelova has been working with images for over 15 years, combining the roles of graphic designer and photographer. Design taught her to understand composition; drawing portraits gave her an eye for the human form, for poses and angles that flatter the subject. Since 2013, she has specialized in wedding photography. Her work combines elements of artistic portraiture, editorial photography, and photojournalism. All of her works show a strong influence of fashion and feature a consistent color palette.
"Arriving at a breathtaking venue, where everyone is at their best and the whole day has been so carefully prepared, knowing that capturing all of it is my job — that never stops feeling like a privilege," she says. France and Italy are at the heart of her work — châteaux, Lake Como villas, the landscapes of Puglia. Though she travels across Europe and beyond, with the Swiss Alps and Hawaii among recent destinations. Every collaboration starts with a proper conversation, moodboards, with the couple's vision always at the centre, and the final result is a collaboration between their wishes and her eye.
Vlasta Weddings
Vlasta Weddings is Vladan and his partner Emina, who met 19 years ago while they were still students and began photographing each other for their fashion blogs — long before Instagram existed. They laid the creative and business foundation that eventually led them to fully dedicate themselves to wedding photography abroad eight years ago.
They exclusively shoot weddings abroad, and Lake Como is their favorite location. For them, pre-wedding communication is everything: understanding who the couple is determines exactly which photos will truly reflect their personalities. Their style blends a fashion-inspired editorial approach with a strong foundation in traditional photography. They believe in clean, refined compositions over trends, aiming to create images that feel just as impactful years from now as they do today. "We believe the best results come from a balance between direction and spontaneity," the duo says.
Nick Zharkov
Photography of Nick Zharkov prioritizes timelessness over trends — refined editorial aesthetics, honest storytelling, luminous color, and retouching that brings out the best in people without making them look artificial. "The moment when everything collapses into one frame: light, emotion, movement, all arriving at the same instant without being arranged or asked for," is what he loves most about the work.
Nick Zharkov never planned to become a wedding photographer — he studied international relations and worked for many years at a diplomatic mission before photography took over. Italy, France, and Spain are his primary destinations. Throughout the day, he works calmly and intuitively, creating opportunities for natural moments rather than forcing people into poses that are unnatural to them.
TALI
Founded in 2008, TALI has grown into a team consisting of two sisters, Tali and Claudia, and a group of other photographers. Based in Germany, they specialize in wedding photography abroad, and their shared passion for fashion, photography, and travel defines everything they do.
They approach every wedding shoot as a unique love story, telling it as the couple actually experiences it. Their style brings together fashion and artistic photography with a vibrant, lively spirit.
