Dolce Vita: A Summer Editorial on Lake Como

Zanegina Production took the concept of Dolce Vita literally. One summer afternoon on Lake Como, a vintage boat, an Aperol spritz by the pool, and a bride who looked like she was exactly where she wanted to be.
More than a wedding editorial, it is an interpretation of the Italian philosophy of celebration, a way of living defined by youth, freedom, spontaneity, and the simple joy of the present moment.
From Jacquemus to Lake Como
The spirit of the editorial was shaped by contemporary fashion imagery, particularly Jacquemus' Le Mariage campaign, its playful spontaneity, intimacy, and effortless elegance. Rather than recreating its imagery, the team translated its atmosphere into an original visual language that celebrates authenticity, movement, and the emotional energy of the moment.
The editorial draws from everything that defines an Italian summer: long afternoons by the lake, laughter with friends, music, citrus-filled tables, warm sunlight, and genuine human connection.
Citrus, Tuxedos, and Lake Water
Tailored tuxedos meet splashing pool water. Sophisticated bridal fashion paired with vibrant citrus accents. A serpentine blue table set with bird of paradise florals winding through the villa garden, while guests in orange and yellow lean in, laugh, and move.
Villa Regia on Lake Como gave the team the space to move between the relaxed energy of a summer afternoon by the pool and the warmth of an evening dinner under the trees. A vintage wooden boat on the lake became one of the shoot's most cinematic moments, the couple framed by mountains and water, moving slowly across the surface of the Italian north.
Luxury here is not expressed through flawless perfection. It shows up in movement, spontaneity, and the kind of laughter that doesn't wait for the camera to be ready.
Shot From Within
Daryna Huz didn't document the celebration from a distance. Through dynamic compositions, direct flash, and an intimate proximity to her subjects, she dissolved the boundary between the viewer and the moment. Her camera became part of the party, preserving laughter, movement, and the youthful energy that defines the essence of Dolce Vita.
The Team That Built the World
The bridal look by Donatella Gallo unfolded across three distinct moments throughout the day: a sheer poolside dress, a structured bridal gown, and a short, fluid reception look, each consistent with the same effortless aesthetic. Hair and makeup by Linka carried the look through each change. Silk scarves and leather goods by SF Fashion Label ran through the wider group styling as a fashion-forward thread connecting the individual looks. Floral and decor by Sintonique, in partnership with Wedd Workshops, shaped the atmosphere with bold orange florals and the serpentine table that became one of the shoot's most striking visual moments. Stationery by Maison C Design completed the tablescape. Bar service by One Torino and Filippo Pro Bartender kept the energy moving. Classic Boats Italy provided the vintage lake boat. Cinematography by Croitoru Video and drone content by Sofi Putareva captured the full scope of the day, while content creation by Kriss Bell and Bell Weddings documented it from within.
Dolce Vita reflects Zanegina Production's approach to visual storytelling, bringing together fashion, photography, and authentic human connection to create editorials that feel contemporary, emotionally honest, and unmistakably alive.
