Elena Solenkova Photographer | About

I live in Chicagoland with my wonderful husband and two kids, a boy and a girl. We came from the Kaliningrad region of Russia in 2017. I worked as an accountant in while we lived there.  
I worked as an eyelash extension  artist in the United States and I was fully booked. I stopped doing eyelash extensions shortly before delivering one of my children.
While I was pregnant I started to think about photography. I have always loved taking pictures, but I had never done it professionally.
I was very happy when my husband supported me in the pursuit of my passion. I’m incredibly grateful to him for enabling me to have what I consider to be my dream job. I was able to enroll in several professional courses in order to hone my photography skills. I have been taking pictures professionally since 2020.
