An Italian jewel. Villa Erba is located in the chic village of Cernobbio and has played host to some of the most exclusive events in the world. Today, Villa Erba is a venue for trade fairs, conferences and concerts. The modern exhibition structure built on its grounds was designed by architect Mario Bellini, who conceived it as a contemporary interpretation of 18th-century greenhouses. The villa has a lavish interior with a number of original ornaments and frescoes, making it a jaw dropping setting for a luxury wedding. The lakefront property has an immense botanical park, with a very secluded and romantic wrought iron cupola where ceremonies can be held. Given the scale of the villa, dining can be in a marquee in the gardens or inside one of the spectacular grand salons. Villa Erba is located just outside Cernobbio, in Largo Luchino Visconti, along the Strada Regina from Como to Cernobbio.
