Mustard Seed Photography was our first stop during the wedding planning process.  I fell in love with their soft, natural style and focus on capturing moments of authenticity and organic narrative.  My now-husband and I were dazzled and elated by Allyn and Ashley’s warmth of personality and wealth of knowledge.  We immediately felt like we were chatting with dear friends, and we knew for sure that MSP was the perfect choice!

We selected an intimate wedding package for our 15-count garden party wedding.  The booking process was user-friendly and paired well with my a la carte mindset — super easy to add on additional time, bridals, etc.  Ashley is an excellent communicator and very well organized.  She anticipated our needs and queries.  I felt well-informed throughout the process (and almost like she was reading my mind at times!).  We fell into a communication lockstep, which was most appreciated.

Allyn is the whole package — a true artist and an altogether lovely person.  She is incredibly professional, perennially cheerful, and personable.  She utilizes topnotch interpersonal skills and EQ to connect with clients.  Her verbal affirmations and visible excitement increased my confidence during bridals.  Neither my husband nor I are spotlight people, yet we neither looked nor felt stiff or awkward during the wedding day.  Allyn’s warmth and demeanor made us feel calm, comfortable, and at ease throughout.  Sessions are time-efficient (yay) and well-executed (double yay), but also super fun (triple yay)!

The images we received are absolutely stunning.  Our favorites are the unscripted, intimate moments — a shared giggle here, a forehead kiss there — that are beautiful yet feel so very “us.”  We were also surprised and delighted by the unexpected gems of our dearest loved ones living in the moment!  The collection is a treat and a true narrative.  The images tell the story of a perfectly elegant, auspicious day iced with bubbly effervescence.  Floating away on love, joy, or champagne?  All of the above.  Allyn captured it perfectly.  We look forward to reminiscing for many years to come!

Selecting Mustard Seed Photography as our wedding photography team was the easiest decision of our entire  planning process, and I can wholeheartedly say I'd choose them a thousand times over again! I knew from the first time I met Kat and Jess that this was the team for us. Their energy is infectious and they will hype you up like no one else can! Throughout our engagement photos, my bridals, and our wedding day, we had the privilege of working with Kat, Jess, Allyn, Lauren, and Lolo, and I could not recommend a better girl gang to have at your wedding. I honestly can't say enough about them because they were just that incredible. They captured every moment of our wedding beautifully, and I can't wait to use them again for our next big event!

Hiring Mustard Seed Photography was THE best decision I made during the planning of my wedding. Everything about their service is top notch. Communication was fantastic, and they met all of the contract deadlines and were even early with some! But hands down the best part was the unbelievable photos I received from my wedding day! All of the photos came out light, airy, and just downright magical! Allyn was our lead photographer and she knocked it out of the park. She is so creative and delivered photos we will treasure for a lifetime. Allyn is so much fun and so kind, she'll put you right at ease and has great direction to get a shot that doesn't look forced. On the big day she came with a second shooter(Lauren) and an assistant(Ashley). This was the DREAM TEAM! They all went above and beyond on our wedding day- and it was not an easy day with a epic rainstorm that came through! All three of them were a big part of making the day a success. I am forever grateful! I had multiple family members say that this was the most professional and organized photography team they had even seen! I also did the 30 page album as part of my package and WOW. The album totally exceeded my expectations. Just gorgeous! So if you are on the fence about an album, it's totally worth it! I found Mustard Seed Photographer on Instagram and I immediately fell in love with their light & airy photos. I knew this was the style of photography I loved and wanted for our wedding so I reached out to them. They set up a meeting and I am so glad they did because Kat & Jess were the funniest, sweetest people I've ever met! Instantly, they made my husband and I feel at home and like we have known them forever. We actually met with a few other photographers we liked but we couldn't get over how cool Kat & Jess were and how much we liked them. My husband and I are quite camera shy which can be quite awkward (We don't know how to naturally pose and be cute  LOL)  but Kat & Jess reassured us that they would be there to help and make us laugh and relax. They sure were right because we loved all our engagement pictures, bridals and we can't wait to see our wedding pictures!

They rocked our wedding day and rolled with all the punches. They brought two other shooters, Reagan
& Lauren to help with our wedding and they were just as sweet!! We had a Vietnamese-Mexican fusion wedding so we had a lot of things going on. We had the traditional 7 course Vietnamese dinner with lion dances, table visits at every table, mariachis and a taco truck! We told them all about our wedding plans and were worried it would be too much but they were all about it! They  did an amazing job the day off! From getting ready, to our ceremony and then our reception, They handled everything like the amazing people they are. I could have not imagined hiring a better team of photographers.  Not only are they incredible photographers, they are incredible people too. If you need a photographer, please do yourself a favor and hire Mustard Seed!
They are worth every penny and I can recommend them enough. I can't wait to use them again- Just take all my money so I can keep hanging out with y'all!!

Choosing your wedding photographer is such an important decision for any couple. Your pictures are one of the only tangible items that you keep from your wedding day and they'll be shared between your family and friends for years to come and shown to your future children someday. Couples shouldn't just look at pricing when it comes to choosing their photographer, what's most important is the quality of their work and what your experience is going to be like working with them as well,  especially since you spend the most time with your photographer on your wedding day! When I became a bride myself, I reached out to them right away to secure my date and get the process started as I knew they book up pretty quickly. Kat was a dream to work with right from the start and I immediately felt like she invested in us as a couple and wanted to learn more about our unique story. She even sent us such a thoughtful booking gift for choosing Mustard Seed for our wedding day! She always listened and gave us her honest advice and went above and beyond what we expected. Though we had to cancel our dream wedding this year due to COVID-19,  Kat was very patient with us and answered all of our questions, helping us navigate the situation. We were extremely appreciative of her and the team and their support during such a difficult time, especially when so many of our other vendors were scrambling. The team at Mustard Seed Photography won't just be your photographers. They will get involved, they'll look out for your best interest and they'll ultimately become a part of your family.  I will continue to always speak volumes of them and would HIGHLY recommend them to any couple I know that's getting married :) You won't regret choosing them to be a part of your special day!
