David from Missing Piece films  did our wedding video and we are happy with the final products. In our package, we received a trailer, a 10min, a 30 min and a full length edit. Each serves a different purpose, the trailer is great for social media and the longer versions are great for when you want to look back and reminisce about the details of the day. David was punctual on the day and professional, with all the busyness on the day he was there busily filming and capturing all the elements you often miss as a bride or groom. The drone footage of our venue in the Cape vineyards was spectacular as was the capturing of the meaningful moments in speeches and vows. The editing was great and he is very skilled at telling the story of the day in a way that feels cohesive and polished. He also very efficiently turned around the videos, delivering the first cut to us before we even left Cape Town (within a week) and the other 3 videos within a few short weeks, which is great as I know friends who have waited months for their wedding videos.

The only slight thing I would change is possibly some more personalization of the music selections on the videos (mostly because my husband has very particular music tastes ) but we cannot fault David for that as the songs he chose are in keeping with the videos and we are overall pleased with the keepsake wedding videos we received.

Picking a wedding videographer is a big decision and we recommend David and Missing Piece as your videographer in Cape Town or Italy (very jealous that he gets to travel to amazing places and film awesome weddings!). Thank you, Missing Piece films!!

David was fantastic. Our wedding videos are phenomenal and captured the most beautiful and special moments of that very special day. His video style is classic and yet unique in the most wonderful way. David was professional, quick to respond, punctual; and he even brought a few game-changing suggestions to the table (e.g. where we were to stand during the ceremony to make it more intimate with our guests) to ensure everything turned out perfectly. What is more, is that David e got all our videos back to us in record time. I cannot recommend David enough.
