When looking for a bridal h/mu artist, you look for someone who is obviously talented but who you’ll also enjoy hanging out with on your wedding day. You know you’re going to be nervous and you’re with this person for a lot of hours! Well I found that and more with Melissa. She made me feel so comfortable, listened to my feedback, and did a phenomenal job. I couldn’t help but send a photo of my face and hair to her at 2am because it hadn’t budged! I looked the same after hours of partying as I did when she was finished. I could not recommend her more!!
I can’t say enough good things about Melissa! From the trial to my wedding day, she was so incredible to work with! My hair and makeup was absolutely flawless and perfect, withstanding torrential rain and a night of dancing! As a mixed race bride with a racially diverse bridal party, it was important for me to work with someone who could manage all hair textures and skin tones, Melissa seamlessly handled us all! My girls looked stunning, she even touched up my husband before our ceremony! She’s the best!
I used Melissa for my wedding in June and she couldn’t have been better. I’m not a big makeup person, but she did my glam in a way that looked so natural while also enhancing the features that needed it. My skin has never glowed more. In fact, she was so good that my bridesmaids are now using her for their weddings!!

Even the day of she didn’t just do everyone’s hair and make up but she also helped me with putting on all my jewelry and ensuring my dress was perfect.

Melissa was a dream on our wedding day. Not only did she take every change and new request in stride (multiple additional people wanted their hair done after they saw the initial results from others), but she produced STUNNING hair for everyone. I have finicky curly hair and my partner has straight full hair and she made magic out of both of them. Both of our hairstyles lasted like a dream all night (without needing massive amounts of product or hairspray to keep it that way). Couldn't recommend Melissa more highly!
